Bit too early to be predicting the team for this game anyway, got the F.A cup on Monday night first.

De Gea Valencia Smalling Rojo Shaw ADM Herrera Blind Young Wilson Rooney Back to basics. Although the central midfield looks a bit lightweight Swansea aren't a physical side so not overly concerned.

Free swing this for Swansea and we're away which makes them dangerous opponents. Not quite like West Ham away but dangerous nonetheless. In saying that they're only 4 points behind the hammers.
Basically does it for me, something close to what finished the Preston game which includes Rooney playing further up.
He looks like our only actual striker who could cause a bit more trouble in the opposition backline and free up space for others if not himself.
RVP been declared available for this game so it probably leaves a dilemma on for the manager and puts uncertainty on Rooney playing up top.
Could be a game we'll see neither Falcao or RVP starting despite been fit and available. Maybe just wishful thinking We shall see
Also Young is sure thing for me after last night, no doubts whatsoever.
Lastly please will you start playing with some urgency for close to an entire game. Not be waiting till late 2nd half or until we go behind. Go at these from the start and dictate things right from the off.
Another salvo for 45 minutes or less and we're risking more points lost on the road which we dont need with some of the game we have coming up.

Young should definitely start, Falcao should definitely be on the bench. I'd love to see Wilson but I see RVP coming back in.
Swansea are struggling to score goals especially with the loss of Bony so I see nothing but a win for us.

De Gea McNair Smalling Rojo Shaw Blind Young Di Maria Herrera/Mata Rooney RVP/Wilson
I'd like to see something like this vs Swansea.

A 442 looks really nice in Jamie's scenario, but we all know it's unlikely to happen. My guess would be: De Gea Valencia - Smalling - Rojo - Shaw Blind Mata Di Maria Rooney Van Persie Falcao

Everyone forgot that we have Rafael? I don't know why he hasn't even made the bench in the last few games.

I'm not too sure of his future under LVG, it looks like he may not trust him.

Everyone forgot that we have Rafael? I don't know why he hasn't even made the bench in the last few games. Rafael played for the U21s against Everton and he was subbed in the 60th min (I think) so my guess is he's not fully fit

I think the Swans will be sticky opponents too but he's been predicting our results like that for ages. Would love to see the actual table based on his predictions been true .
