Surprised none of you guys have put Fellaini in your line ups, after his influence in the FA cup and the praise earned by LVG, although having said that, I get the impression that the manager sees Fellaini as having a greater impact as a sub. I want to see Herrera starting, he has produced the goods near enough every time he has played, but again, I just don't see LVG starting him, although he really does deserve a chance.
If I were to make a guess for line up:
DDG
Tony Chris Rojo Shaw
Blind
ADM. Adnan
Wayne
Rvp. Fellaini
I hope that looks somewhat presentable, I'm on my phone, so un sure how it will turn out.

I think everyone apart from LVG have been saying Herrera should be starting. Probably he doesn't fit well into his system.

Merson has all the brain mass of you average sponge and he's said more or less the same narrative in every prediction for us for months. However 1-1 seems the most likely scoreline to me. Based on the previous 12 away games, a 1-1 draw has a 1 in 3 chance of landing.

My problem with Merson isn't necessarily the scorelines although he used to predict us to lose and draw games regularly when Fergie was in charge so there's clearly an underlying issue with United there from him. It's the reasons, or lack of reasons for his predictions. Swansea's form has dipped a little of late, 1 win in 6 games and 1 win in their last 5 home games, with 2 draws and 2 defeats. Meanwhile we've lost once since November. In our last 5 away games we've drawn 2 and won 3. The logical prediction for me is a close game with us to nick it by a goal, 0-1 or 1-2.

Cup games at Yeovil, Cambridge and Preston distort that though, the last 5 league aways have seen 4 draws and 1 win, three of those draws being 1-1. All three also including us going behind before leveling.
But I agree, Merson saying, "Man United haven't impressed me, I don't think they're very good, draw for me," every single week is as pointless as it gets. It riles me that he gets paid for his opinions just because he could play a bit 20 years ago, provided he wasn't coked up.

Our manner of performance doesn't change no matter the opposition though, also besides Villa those 4 draws were against sides in better form than Swansea right now. Anything that suggests a close game with a draw or us winning is a logical prediction, predicting a Swansea win isn't logical, of course there's a chance they could beat us and they'll probably fancy their chances but from a betting point of view there's no logic in going for a Swansea win. Us to win it by a goal for me but I understand the logic of a draw.
Here we are showing the thing missing from Merson's prediction, reasoning. Like I say I don't mind him predicting a draw, just give me some proper reasoning instead of United haven't convinced me all season and I think Swansea will get a point.

Yeah I agree, we are 3rd for a reason.

That's the thing with these predictions - if he gets it wrong - so what? No one holds him responsible or even says something. But God help us if they get it right. Not sure if that's the case with Merson cause I don't really follow his predictions, but we have a pundit here that only waits for the moment to say "I told you so".
As to Fellaini - I wouldn't mind seeing him at all, but I think we were discussing it earlier or in the chatroom that the Swansea game isn't expected to be a tough physical one, so someone like Mata could take his place and Fellaini could come on as a sub if needed

Surprise surprise Charlie Nicholas also goes for a score draw, Le Tissier and Cottee both have us down for a 2-0 win.

I never wanted Manchester United to be second to anybody. Only the best would be good enough
