What a shitty first eleven! I can't believe that idiot van Gaal can mess again like this with a fir.... This is fantastic team, happy with that, on paper. Lets see what happens but I think we'll see much better performance than some of late. I'll beat my ass with a rammer for a day if we play again hoofball with this setup! I think Rooney will play upfront with this line-up. Happy with this Maybe, or they'll switch occasionally, dependable of our needs during the game.

How we didn't score in the first half hour of the second half is a mystery, as dominant and attacking as I've seen from us for a while. But as we know all too well, if you don't make possession and chances pay then you'll get burnt and that's exactly what happened. Van Gaal will rightfully say the best team lost today but despite being a fan of his I'm getting a little bored of that, I'd rather here him slate the players for not putting the game to bed and I'd also like to see him drop his compatriot!

We need to take more shots from outside the box

Is rammer Chinese for hammer or something else?

We shouldn't have lost that, Swansea created nothing second half, we controlled it with patient possession trying to find a gap but the final ball and clinical finishing wasn't there today. Better play through midfield but the strikers once again haven't been good enough.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "Of course you can say we dominated the game but the only thing we could have done more was score more out of the chances we created. Today we were the unlucky team. I think we created enough chances. We were the dominant side in both halves. "Conceding so quickly after opening the scoring was important. It was a throw in for Swansea and we should have been more organised. But it was a good goal by Swansea. "Today we played well - only we forgot to score. We have to be more effective."

I agree Dave, today's performance for me was definitely an improvement on what we've seen recently. We not only dominated but looked more dangerous going forward especially at the start of the second half but again what was lacking was the final ball and the quality from the strikers, particularly RVP. Everything probably went to plan for Van Gaal, close game in the first half but the possession eventually gave us the upper hand in the second and we absolutely dominated for a large chunk and should've killed the game off. Despite this being a defeat and the game vs West Ham being a draw I felt today was the much better performance.

well he's lying if he thinks we were the dominant team in both halves. Swansea could have been 3 up in the first 20 minutes.

After getting points for many inept performances lately I think today is called poetic justice Dave. Even though we had good possession for a 20 minute spell Swansea go up the other end and score which goes to show having so much possession doesn't mean shit if you can't do anything with it. Story of the last 3 months. This result was waiting to happen.

I don't think we dominated or played so well, its just because we play crap football every week this game has looked better but overall the performance was average. The line up today was good enough to beat them by 2 goals but the way we played is so predictable.
Some substitutions doesn't make any sense, RVP should have been taken off but no matter how badly he plays, he stays on the pitch. I dont think players are selected on basis of their performance like LVG has told during pre-season.

Said as much in the shoutbox. We sneak a late equalizer and it would be talk then of unbeaten in 20 or something like that.
Whereas it seriously masks the performances over that period. These things have a habit of evening themselves out.

Yes but this possession wasn't going sideways, backwards and nowhere, it was in and around the box and we had Swansea with their backs to wall, improvement no?
