If half way through the season we're half way down the table playing shit football then people can start to criticise but not after 3 PL games ffs. Indeed. Besides, if people have to criticise United, what will those people have to say about Chelsea? They have been dreadful, unable to control games, lucky to survive today against WBA as well. Liverpool aren't exactly in a better shape, being outplayed at home Vs Bournemouth, and how about Arsenal? Lucky to have 3 points as a draw at Palace wouldn't have been a steal at all. But as you say, it's only the third game, a lot will happen and no one can predict how those teams will evolve. What I see is that we now have progressed to a point where we control games much better, and teams are starting to "fear" what we can do to them, dropping deeper and sometimes parking the bus. I feel a lot more confident going into games now, and keeping a clean sheet for 3 games is certainly not a coincidence. I am just glad this league is so unpredictable and competitive. Great shows week in week out, even among the smaller sides. That's why I pay a subscription to English football.
