I didn't realise that he was so tall, I looked it up there and he is 5'11", he looks tiny when I see him on tv. And as before a loan deal would benefit both player and club.

I've no doubt he'll suck-seed here but he needs regular games to develop his game atm.

Gone to Dortmund on a one-season loan, which is a very strange decision by LvG imo. We are not spoilt with wingers/wide attackers, so Januzaj wpuld have gotten plenty of playing time at United, would gel even more with the team. However, he is now gone to Dortmund, who play a completely different brand of football, and where he will be used just in case everyone else is unavailable. Germans are very pragmatic and they will definetely think long-term, so not sure they will care about much about the development of a youngster who is destined to leave after one season anyway. Maybe one of the journos will ask LvG about Januzaj, so that we all know what was the reason behind this loan.

If he can get the game time it's as good a place as any to hone his skills. I understand the move rather than stick him on loan at a championship club and make him learn the hard way. His game will develop over there.....if he can get game time. As for the move itself, I think we all feel it's weird one.

Good to see him being effective. Hopefully he'll force his way into their first team.

Failed to get off the bench again. Fucking joke of a decision to send him out on loan to a club who couldn't even guarantee him as much playing time as we could've done. Nonsensical when you look how light we are up front.

We're apparently recalling him soon
i can imagine Van Gaal could actually use him and even start him in a lot of games

Yeah, with all the talk about lack of pace and creativity on the wings by Van Gaal, it makes even less sense than couple months ago. If we actually manage to get him out of there in January it would be great

Even if he wasn't starting for us much, I'd rather see him sat on our bench and training with our players than sat on Dortmund's.

Exactly, the whole idea of loaning a player out is to get him more experience and more minutes than we could offer. If he is not getting this at the loan club, he is better off here.
