Liverpool Legend. Slip that costs them the title and now a stamp that potentially could cost them a Champions League spot next season. Tells you everything you need to know about them. The true leader, full of experience, won an awful lot silverware, a role model for kids! They don't deserve it anyway with that attitude shown today. Hurt people when you feel powerless and outplayed, let the all bitterness prevail.

I think it's unfair on us to say his red card cost them as they played with more spirit after his red. I actually think we'd have woin more comfortably with him still on the pitch.

It did. Mentally we got complacent and didn't feel the need to press as much, they knew they had to fight for everything and showed more spirit and grit after his sending off.
Really unimpressed with Rooney today besides the penalty miss he was piss poor, everything was off, just hoping it was one of those days and being at Anfield. Also thought besides the assist Di Maria was shocking. If Young's recovered in 2 weeks then he stays on the bench.

Around 4 weeks ago a friend of mine (Liverpool fan) told me he didn't think much of Van Gaal and that from his interviews he just comes across as a pedantic, clueless idiot.
I've sent him 4 texts today, yet to hear a response......Ignorant bastard!

Once Di Maria got that assist, I was thinking yeah it might be his day but after that he was dreadful, gave the ball away countless times and his final ball so poor. Really not good enough.
We've looked better in those spells with Mata even in the 352 and Young.

It sounds strange but right now if the rumours about Di Maria wanting out in the summer are true I wouldn't be overly concerned. Having said that I expect him to improve next season if he's still here. Get a full pre-season into him and after a full season of experience in the league he'll definitely be better and could turn into the player we thought he was when we signed him. He'll also be in a more balanced side next year with various quality additions in key areas.

Yeah I hope so. Not really been mentioned, thought Smalling and Jones had another solid outing. Last two games we've looked like the United of old, a lot more balanced, the passing more crisp and accurate. The shape of the side, the link up play, triangles, pressing all been top level stuff, the win today shows that last week wasn't a one off. We dominated Spuds and Liverfool made them look so poor especially the latter in their own park, forced them to make those subs. Keep it up lads and top four will be a breeze

Yeah Jones and Smalling were solid, actually I'd go as far as to say Smalling was very good. It's been clear since the defeat to Swansea that the side are starting to click even though we lost our play was starting to go in the right direction...even the defeat to Arsenal was an improved performance on the whole, just didn't get the results.
Now we've improved further, dominated inform opponents 2 weeks running and deservedly got the 3 points. I fancy us for 2nd place now, no reason why we shouldn't get that position if we keep up this form. We'll beat City and Arsenal.

Looked at the odds on us finishing 2nd and skybet are offering 7/1. Decided to put my money where my mouth is.

7/1 are crazy odds for me, sky just showed the table between the top 5 and we're top. We're one of the most in form sides in the league and are actually starting to put in performances as well now. I make us favourite to beat both City and Arsenal at home. That would put us in a great position. A couple of tough away games to come but we thought that today.. Yeah 7/1 will do for me.
