Zamparini: '€40m offer for Dybala'By Football Italia staff Maurizio Zamparini claims there is “already a €40m offer in my hand” for Palermo's Paulo Dybala, but is it Juventus or Manchester United? The Argentine sensation is only 21 years old, but scored 12 Serie A goals in 25 games this season, along with eight assists. “Has Dybala already been picked up by Juve? Absolutely not,” President Zamparini told Radio Due. “I already have a €40m offer in my hand, but if someone else gets into the race then we’ll see what happens. “Were Manchester United behind this offer? I won’t tell you the name of the club, not even if you torture me!” As well as Juve and Manchester United, Roma are thought to be interested in striker Dybala. “Anything can happen in football. The Giallorossi have good financial capabilities and it’s possible Walter Sabatini could take him away. We’ll see.” Zamparini confirmed he’ll be in the stands at the Stadio Barbera for today’s game with Juventus, which kicks off at 17.00 GMT, but the notoriously superstitious patron won’t be watching. “I am accompanying some Russian associates who are big football fans. After that I might stay on my own in a little room or go to pray to Santa Rosalia...” www.football-italia.net/63839/zamparini-%E2%82%AC40m-offer-dybala

i think we put in that mystery bid.
which leads me to think that Falcao ain't coming back and/or something may happen with RVP
we're apparently sounding out Ronaldo also for a potential return (if we could take Ronaldo + Bale, oh and they can have Mata and Di Maria + money if they want, we would pillage everyone)
the fact that Ronaldo, Rooney and Bale as well as Dybala are potential deals. would be amazing (even for us though, sales would be needed, we would get wrecked by FFP otherwise)

Nicolás Otamendi.
Agreed - Star to join Man United 'at end of season' for £36m, talks concludedPosted by SPORT WITNESS on March 18, 2015 at 17:33 in Sport Witness Football There were claims in the British media on Wednesday that Manchester United had agreed to pay the release clause of Nicolas Otamendi, which currently stands at €50m. We did a little tracing on the reports and they originate from Deportes Cope Valencia (radio) who claimed that the Spanish club had held talks on the possibility of selling Otamendi to Manchester United and decided that would be the case. Deporte Valenciano have picked it up and they explain that the radio programme said that the Spanish club's president Amadeo Salvo and the club's general manager Rufete have talked through the scenario, which would be a good financial deal for Valencia, and agreed Otamendi can move to Manchester United at the end of the season. They headline their piece 'Valencia gives up Nicolas Otamendi for next season' and the sub-headline is 'Amadeo Salvo and Rufete have held talks during which the leaders have taken for granted Manchester United signing Otamendi at the end of the season'. Periodista Digital also cover the Deportes Cope Valencia claims and say Valencia take it for granted that Otamendi is moving to Manchester United at the end of the season after talks concluded with a willingness to accept a €50m fee without causing much fuss. Although the club don't need the cash with the recent investment from Peter Lim, they do need to stay on the right side of FFP and this is one way of doing that and leaving money available for summer purchases. The meeting between the two men would be largely cosmetic if Manchester United do put forward the €50m clause. That should make a transfer automatic and whilst clubs can be awkward about it and threaten to have extra tax added, it's not a likely scenario and that kind of stance is usually adopted only by Athletic Club Bilbao - as Manchester United will be well aware. Manchester United would need the will of the player on their side and it's claimed that Otamendi was tempted during the winter transfer window because he was offered a higher salary by the Old Trafford club. Several Valencia sources, including the one mentioned above, now confirm that Manchester United made a €35m bid during the winter window. There need be no more talks ahead of the transfer being completed, other than personal terms, as long as Manchester United would pay the clause. That's where the doubt has to hang - €50m for a central defender (which works out to be £36m) is huge - but needs must, and Manchester United certainly need. So, the three players Mike Keegan has mentioned a couple of days ago who agreed to join are Dybala, Otamendi and Memphis (most probably). Right, the circle is closed!
Fourth please and let it be a central midfielder!

MINO RAIOLA Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent and Paul Pogba, think the first will always be in Paris next season as he is more evasive on the future of the second.
INTERVIEW begins with a preamble: "I do not care what others think of me. Maybe it's my Dutch side ... What matters is what my family, my friends and my players think of me. Those who judge me, evil as well as elsewhere, do not know me ....Would be great to see the whole interview, I'm surprised by that wording on caughtoffside. :o

Apparently here's our centerback coming. I must say, the lad was great in the air and more than decent on the ball every time I saw him, including the World Cup and some Valencia matches I've watched. One of the 3 best performers this season on that position in Primera, that's certain. Has a bit of Vidić in him, although not as tall. Him and Rojo already played together so I guess he'll slot right in next to him if this is all true of course.

I really like him: strong, solid, aggressive CB, tactical awareness and you could easily understand why LVG would want to build an Argentinian pairings at CB : better understanding, relationship, etc. it would make a lot of sense.
