De Bruyne or even Schurle to united doesn't seem like the worst option in terms of a wide player, only thing is De Bruyne is not an out and out winger either. he is a guy who plays more a CAM role

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale: Goal drought after critical fans led to playing-style changeBy Eduardo Fernandez-Abascal March 4, 2015 13:54 GMT Gareth Bale has not scored a goal in the last seven Real Madrid games(Getty) Gareth Bale's goal drought at Real Madrid has a direct relationship with a change of his style after his own fans whistled him at the Santiago Bernabeu and accused the former Tottenham star of being a "ball-hog", recent stats have revealed. The Wales international was booed by some of his own fans at the Santiago Bernabeu during the victory over David Moyes's Real Sociedad side on 31 January. The former Spurs star was recently rebuked publicly by Cristiano Ronaldo for opting to shoot instead of passing him the ball in the win against Espanyol and he was also made the scapegoat for the 2-1 defeat to Valencia earlier in 2015. Spanish newspaper AS says Bale has since changed his approach to the game, which sees him trying to be more generous but losing his goal instinct at the same time. According to the stats, since the game against Real Sociedad, Bale has shot on goal 12 times in 540 minutes, meaning he made one attempt every 45 minutes on the pitch, while before the game against Moyes's side he had an average shot rate of every 22 minutes. Bale's change of style has had a negative impact on his goalscoring record. Having scored 10 in 20 La Liga games before the Sociedad match, the Tottenham star has failed to score in his last seven appearances for Los Blancos - six La Liga games and a Champions League tie - while his last goal came from the penalty spot in the victory over Cordoba on 24 January. AS points out this is Bale's longest goalscoring drought since the former Spurs hero left White Hart Lane for the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer 2013 for a world-record fee of £81m ($124m). When asked after the Champions League victory over Schalke whether he had changed his approach to the game due to the "selfish" accusations, Bale said: "I haven't really adapted my style of play. In certain games, if a sight of goal has opened up I'll take it. But tonight I think my teammates were in better positions and I tried to play the ball around." www.ibtimes.co.uk/real-madrid-star-gareth-bale-goal-drought-after-critical-fans-led-playing-style-change-1490462So, he hasn't escaped the booing either.

Football transfer rumours: Manchester United to sign Brazilian star Kenedy?Brazil's Robert, or Kenedy, or Robert Kenedy, left, fights for the ball with Peru's Luis Abram during their U-20 match earlier this month. Photograph: Matilde Campodonico/AP Michael Butler @michaelbutler18 Tuesday 17 February 2015 09.06 GMT Brazil has long been known as an exporter of bright young things with very boring names. Jô, Alan, Bernard, Fred are among those to have graced the Mill’s keyboard in recent years, and frankly we’ve had enough. Mothers of Brazil, we want more ‘-inho’s’, more double-grave accents, more headbanded wonderkids named after a Greek philosophers, more starlets commonly associated with huge green Marvel Comic superheroes. The latest off the underwhelmingly-labelled production line is ‘Robert’ or ‘Kenedy’ or ‘Robert Kenedy’, depending on which back-street outlet you get your morning football gossip from. To help pique your interest this Tuesday, we’re going to affectionately refer to the 19-year-old Fluminense striker as Bobby in the hope that the image of the charming former US senator can inspire you to finish this paragraph. Like a rare wild beast, BobKat is being ‘tracked’ by Manchester United after impressing in both Brazil’s U-17 and U-20 set up and is thought to be worth £5m. United face competition from Internazionale but are thought to be in the proverbial driving seat having already established a relationship with Fluminense with the transfer of Rafael and Fábio da Silva back in 2008. Predictably, Bob has been dubbed the new Neymar by the Metro, although from grainy YouTube videos, he appears to have more in common with the aforementioned Hulk. So expect a couple of very expensive moves and ol’ Bob to burn out by the time he reaches his mid-20s. Lovely. Louis van Gaal and co have also had their heads turned by a player slightly closer to home: Southport reserve team (stay with us here) striker Drew Lewis, who has scored a whopping 38 goals this season. The Premier League giants have offered the 19-year-old a trial, and should he sign for United, he would become the second player to do so from non-league this season, after Sadiq El Fitouri’s switch from Salford City. Palermo’s Paulo Dybala is increasingly looking like he might become Arsenal’s Paulo Dybala this summer after the Italian club’s owner, Maurizio Zamparini, admitted that there had been a breakdown in contract negotiations. “I like him a lot, but I was expecting a different attitude,” Zamparini reportedly told Italian press. “I don’t speak to him about a new contract anymore. This lad is out of reach for all Italian clubs, except for Juventus who could make money by selling Paul Pogba. His future? The problem is not the boy but his agents. I am sorry for this. I’ve been to London and I have received calls from all over Europe.” £30m is the price being bandied about, if Arsène Wenger was wondering. The Mill suspects this will not be the Argentinian’s last mention here. www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/17/football-transfer-rumour-mill-manchester-united-kenedy-brazilThe article from two weeks ago and now: Bid in - Manchester United offer £6m to sign young superstar Posted by SPORT WITNESS on March 5, 2015 at 18:24 in Sport Witness Football Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo have another feature on the future of young Brazilian Kenedy in their Thursday newspaper. With Kenedy being a Barcelona target no expense is spared on the plaudits and he's elevated to the best player under 20 years old in Brazil and one of the country's new generation of sensations. Kenedy is an 18 year old forward and Mundo Deportivo say he has an incredible power in his shots, reminiscent of Hulk. He's considered more creative than Hulk and held aloft by legends of the Brazilian game. The boy is a bit highly rated. His full name is Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimento and the Spanish newspaper explain that he's named after Bobby Kennedy, brother of JFK. The shortened version of 'Kenedy' is on Barcelona's shopping list and 'underlined in red' by the club's new shopping guru Ariedo Braida. Barcelona's strong interest won't automatically end in success, partly because of his complicated ownership say Mundo Deportivo, but they also point out strong competition from others - claiming Manchester United have already offered €8m. That works out to be about £6m and could be more pleasing to Kenedy's current club Fluminense than other offers. Fernando Simone, executive director of Fluminense, spoke TMW in Italy recently and confirmed bids had gone in "We have received formal offers but nothing is happening: for €5m to €6m we certainly wouldn't sell. How much? We do not put a fixed price, we can say that we'll listen to the best." sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/bid-in-manchester-united-offer-6m-to-sign-young-superstar

Manchester United transfer gossip: Paul Pogba updatePogba continues to be linked with a return to United Paul Pogba's rent-a-quote agent Mino Raiola has piped up again, only this time it is bad news for Manchester United and every other elite European club. Pogba could remain at Juventus next season, it turns out. That's hardly a surprise, since he signed a new contract in October and his market value could soar after a successful Euro 2016 on home soil. As huge as a mistake as it was to allow Pogba to leave, no wonder Sir Alex Ferguson got fed up of Raiola's rhetoric. Brace yourself for 'where were you when Kenedy was bought?' puns if United bother to sign the 19-year-old Brazilian striker. It is not particularly encouraging the Fluminense goalscorer has been dubbed 'the new Hulk'. That's a reference to the unreliable striker, rather than the Avengers member. www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-transfer-gossip-paul-8783543#rlabs=1

Manchester United target Dani Alves: Barcelona star 'in advanced talks' with Premier League club By Eduardo Fernandez-Abascal March 6, 2015 14:56 GMT Dani Alves is out of contract at Barcelona this summer (Getty)Free agent Dani Alves, a reported target of Manchester United, is in advanced negotiations with a Premier League club regarding a summer move from Barcelona, reports in Spain claim. The Brazil international's contract at the Camp Nou is due to expire in the summer and, with the Catalans yet to offer him a renewal deal, he has been free to negotiate a move to another club since January. Earlier in March, his agent Dinorah Santana revealed the defender was close to agreeing terms with a team other than Barcelona. "We're close to signing with another club, the talks are advanced," she said. "Barcelona? Dani is always available but he won't wait much longer. They're making Dani look like the baddie in this movie." And now Spanish journalist Miguel Rico, one the most reliable writers regarding Barcelona, assures in Mundo Deportivo that Alves is in "very advanced negotiations" with an unnamed Premier League club. Nevertheless, Rico, who broke the story regarding Cesc Fabregas's move to Chelsea in the summer of 2014, as well as Victor Valdes's arrival to Old Trafford, claims the Brazilian will not sign the deal until he knows what Barcelona's plans are, as staying at the Camp Nou is still his first choice. The report claims the defender will make a final decision after Barcelona's game against Real Madrid on 22 March, when the club are expected to meet with Santana to reveal whether they want Alves to stay, offering him a new deal, or are happy to let him leave. When asked at the end of February about the situation, Barcelona club president Josep Maria Bartomeu said: "We are already planning next year with Rexach and Braida [sporting directors] and other officials. They are working. I don't know whether Alves will renew his contract, we will have time to discuss that." Earlier in the season, Alves admitted he would like to have an experience in the Premier League and has since been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. United manager Louis van Gaal is looking for a right-back to replace out-of-favour Rafael and in February, Catalan-based newspaper Sport claimed Alves's agent was set to fly to England to meet with United's officials to discuss a potential move to Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Porto star Danilo, also linked to United in recent weeks, is said to be on the verge of completing his move to Real Madrid. www.ibtimes.co.uk/manchester-united-target-dani-alves-barcelona-star-advanced-talks-premier-league-club-1490809

Club set to accept £14m Man United offer, personal terms sorted, June dealPosted by SPORT WITNESS on March 8, 2015 at 6:52 in Sport Witness Football The Italian claims on Saturday regarding Manchester United and Radja Nainggolan were quite in depth. We've already covered how Gazzetta dello Sport claim Manchester United are readying an offer of around €40m and how Luis van Gaal has made contact personally with the entourage of the AS Roma midfielder. There's more. Nainggolan is jointly owned by AS Roma and Cagliari, a situation common in Italian football. Gazzetta say 'Roma and Cagliari are also talking about the possibility of accepting the offer of Manchester United and selling Belgian midfielder to the British club in June, earning 20 million each.' It'll sting for Roma to get just €20m (around £14m) for Nainggolan and it would have been wiser for them to buy Cagliari out of their side of the bargain last summer, they may have tried. The efforts of the two clubs will be in tandem to get the best fee rather than working against each other and that'll be why Gazzetta suggest they're keen to accept €40m from Manchester United. Nainggolan is good but €40m is more than fair and the Italian clubs would know they'd struggle to match it elsewhere. Nainggolan himself has been in contract talks with Roma for a while but they can't get anywhere near the €4m it's claimed Manchester United have offered the player. Gazzetta call that an 'astonishing' figure and say the offer has already been made to the player. Whilst €4m may not sound much relative to Manchester United wages which are now routinely over £100k a week, the figure quoted in Italy will almost certainly be after tax. sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/club-set-to-accept-14m-man-united-offer-personal-terms-sorted-junCould be some truth in it. A perfect player for us I'd say from what I saw of him, very similar player to Vidal. Would be ecstatic to no end if we buy him.

Ok New attempt (going to use transfermarkt values here for transfers, obviously going to pay more in most cases and get more money also): In:Gareth Bale (15 million + Angel Di Maria) Mats Hummels (35 million) Raphael Varene (25 million) Ricardo Rodriguez (28 million) Sami Khedira (Free) Fabian Schar (Free) Evgen Konoplyanka (Free) Danny Ings (Free) Jon Flanagan (Free) Sammy Ameobi (Free) Out:Antonio Valencia (10 million) Ashley Young (9 million) Chris Smalling (11 million) Jonny Evans (8 million) Andes Lingesgard Falcao (Loan expired) Micheal Carrick (Free) James Wilson (Loan) Patrick McNair (Loan) Falcao has been rubbish as of late and has had a falling out with LVG, clearly. Smalling and Evans have just been downright scary (in a bad way) defending this season (and last). As for the unfortunate dismissals, Carrick doesn't deserve to languish deep on the bench, so he is the one that makes way for Khedira, he is at the end of his career almost (33) and with AC Milan wanting him, it would be best for both parties if he leaves, Young has been actually really great, he has reinvented himself as an industrious player, however he isn't up to united standard, still don't think he has that quality, especially with Januzaj there. Valencia gets sold to make way for a more traditional RB option in Flanagan, also wouldn't get much of a look in next season regardless with Januzaj coming off the bench, also with injuries plus age, he could lose his pace, and if he loses his pace, then it ain't going to be good for him at all. As for the loanees out, both are loaned out for first team experience (Championship to dominate or premier league newcomers so they can start and be in the starting XI mostly, that would be a pre-requisite). Lingesgaard goes cause he ain't going to get a game, may as well sell him, and if we need a 3rd keeper, promote from the academy to gain experience with the first team from the two spaniards First XI:
De Gea Rafael - Hummels - Varene - Rodriguez Khedira - Herrera Mata - Rooney - Bale Van Persie
Second XI:
Valdes Flanagan - Schar - Rojo - Shaw Blind Januzaj - Konoplyanka Fellaini Hernandez - Ings note how a lot of these players are versatile (Blind, in particular can play as a LCB or a LB, as well as DM or CM, even a LM at a stretch) Januzaj is class and Konoplyanka takes Young's role more or less. Fellaini is another who is unfortunate but will be crucial over the season (especially if we are playing Champions league again) he can play a number of roles and will be important, Hernandez, well he's really our super sub, but given RVP's history with injuries he is going to be starting a fair bit anyway. and him and Ings will be there to take the load off of Rooney and RVP. Januzaj is there to give pressure to Mata, if Mata doesn't perform, Januzaj probably will and Mata can be shipped off in january and januzaj can come in pretty seamlessly. Flanagan is young, but skilled enough where he could probably give Rafael some competition and will also get games given Rafael will get injured most likely in the campaign. Shaw and Rodriguez are interchangeable in all honesty, either could start, either could be benched, good to have that depth Also note Blackett is in this squad also as the 23rd player. he will be important as a left footed CB (yes, i notice i have 4 right footed CB's listed, it is irking me a bit) i know playing 2 different squads isn't practical but you can see that second team with the 4-4-2 diamond can be used in cup games and lesser CL games to rest our first team players if needed and would be still very good

Gareth Bale (15 million + Angel Di Maria) Wait, are you saying that Real would take di Maria back + 15m now and give Bale away? As for the likes of Ameobi and Flanagan, you really believe they're required quality?
