Game takes on extra significance now after today. We could be as low as 6th before we kick off if certain results occur on Tuesday night.
BTW Jie don't be using the Burnley Express's gif. Create your own. Haha it comes down under ticketing details You went deep to find that one

The two teams with most attempted long range passes this season (opta) going head to head in this.
We're in for a cracker so on foot of that news

I'd like to see some changes, Falcao, Di maria and RVP have all been way below par I wouldn't mind seeing them all dropped. Rooney's got to be further up either at the tip or upfront.
De Gea, McNair, Jones, Rojo, Young, Blind, Herrera, Fellaini, Mata, Rooney, Wilson.
Let's see some actual midfielders in midfield pls.

I see we're being outrageously optimistic today... Herrera in the starting XI and Rooney as a striker?? Never going to happen...

3-5-2 will be back on show since Shaw is suspended for this one and I may sound negative but I kind of wish RVP is punished and given a 3 game ban for that elbow. its the only way he will be dropped from the team me thinks. As much as I was dissapointed with Falcao's miss yesterday I hope he plays up top with Rooney and for Wayne to do the job he does when he plays with RVP and him focussing on goal scoring. I hope to see a back five of De Gea, McNair Smalling Rojo Young, Blind Herrera Di maria mata, Rooney Falcao.

Despite being relegation battlers, Burnley aren't a particularly physical side so it's actually a game in which I think Mata would be useful, I'd like to see us go with a 4-3-3 De Gea Mcnair Jones Rojo Blackett Blind Herrera Mata Di Maria Rooney Young Obviously this side is not remotely realistic but yeah. I'd like to see the 2 strikers from Yesterday benched. Di Maria and Young to provide genuine speed and width out wide, with the creativity of Mata and Herrera in behind. Could swap the positions of Blackett Rojo but I like the idea of sticking with the same central defensive pairing. Another alternative is to drop Young back in to left back, stick Di Maria on the left and start Valencia on the right wing.

I know one thing, we need to start scoring a metric fuckton of goals to help our goal difference, I think it could be crucial.

How brilliant it would be if Herrera actually started.... will this finally be the game where this happens? Everyone has been crying out for this....

I think he will play against Burnley. Dont think Januzaj deserves a place after that performance, he has been poor throughout the season. So I get a feeling that Herrera will replace Januzaj.
