They were always asking for trouble, I remember when City were first taken over by Sheikh Mansour and they bought Robinho, a bunch of City fans turned up outside the Etihad wearing tea towels around their heads.
It's like they don't realise the majority of football fans are imbeciles.

what on earth is going on with us, no signings thus far, is the defender from dynamo kiev been confirmed I don't think it's that surprising that we're not active in January... we signed Valdes. Now you want some player from the Ukrainian Premier League? Our business will be done in the summer.

I wonder what midfielder we'll end up with in the Summer? Pogba will be at Madrid for a world record fee by all accounts, Strootman is fucked already and it looks like LVG actually fancies very few players.

I wouldn't rule Strootman out just yet. Schneiderlin ticks the boxes for me, going for him is another matter.

Strootman is going under the knife again apparently: Link. Club would be nuts to buy him as a mainstay Premier league central midfielder now imo, unless they can get him for a much reduced fee. I like Schneiderlin too, not sure how Soton would feel about losing him and Clyne to us though.

In that case it's a good job we didn't move for him in this window.
I'm sure they'll get over it eventually, perhaps we could offer someone to sweeten the deal.
