Madrid buying a 16 years old Norwegian kid? He'll play, where, for Castilla I guess?

wouldn't mind that to be honest but would rather put in a cheeky 30 mill bid for varane and see how real madrid react I can't see Real letting him go. He's kinda their future but then again, you never know with them... yeah players for them are disposable since they'll go out and get another CB (a certain one from valencia perhaps)

I'd love Pogba back. I can't find enough of a shit to give about the way he left, the argument still to this day goes on about whether it was money or solely first team football. It doesn't matter which one it was; either way the person that made that decision (Ferguson and/or Gill) isn't here anymore.
If there really is a chance at it but the club have pride issues over it then I'd be well and truly pissed off, just look at the difference Matic has made in Chelsea's midfield - nobody said a word about the fact they'd let him go on the cheap a couple of years earlier. A midfield three of Herrera, Pogba and Di Maria will do me very nicely.

Came on as a sub against Bulgaria and single-handedly destroyed our defence. Not that Bulgaria's defence is anything to go by, but when a 15-year-old does what he did, it's pretty impressive. I'd be looking forward to his games at Real

He'll be training with Castilla and the first team. He's also said many times that his idol is Zidane, so to have Zidane as his manager for Castilla probably had a pretty big role to play as well. He made his decision. I wish him nothing but the best. He's obviously a talented young footballer with a bright future. Ryan Gauld scored two for Sporting the other day too... it's good to see this young talent flourishing- wherever it may be.

He seems to be an outstanding young player, but surely his move to Real Madrid seems way to early, doesn't it? I mean, not a great deal of talented youngsters who signed for Real Madrid at a young age has gone on to flourish there. I still hope he can fulfil his immense potential, but this decision just doesn't seem sound IMO.

What 16 yr old do you know that would turn down a move to Real Madrid? I don't know what the future holds... it'll certainly be difficult for him to get first team football anytime soon, but he's said he went there for a footballing education not just to play with the first team- (his ultimate goal obviously). If he wanted to be playing first team football right away then moving to any top club would probably have been too much... He made his choice, and we'll see what comes of it.

No,not much Mark, but at least he's a CB which is what we need. Evans, Jones or Smalling out? Personally I'd keep Smalling, but the other two...meh.
