Hey bobbins. Don't take too much notice of Dave and Ed. If they don't take their meds they can become pretty nasty. Just nod and agree with them and you'll be OK. Welcome to the forum

Still no Garner in the squad if Ole thinks playing Matic, Mata or Fred is the way to go then he deserves to lose his job if we lose. Can't see us losing though. But then again I thought we'd thump Rochdale so what do I know?

You could stick Kane upfront but he’d be useless with nothing to work with The thing with Kane though is if he isn't getting any service he drops back as deep as he needs to go and makes things happen. Rashford doesn't have the brains to do that, Greenwood can't be expected to and Martial when fit is too feckin lazy. Same as at Liverpool. Henderson and Milner are hardly world class but all 3 forwards know how to find space at the exact moment needed making for an easier pass. Our lot are like statues. Pogba is the best player we have but how many times does he have the ball in CM looks up and he has no one to pass it to? You gave a good example of his pass to Rashford. It was one of the very few times one of our forwards made that run and Pogba put it on a plate for him so for me it's not just the lack of quality in CM but also our forwards either don't have the intelligence to make those runs, they're feckin lazy or they're not well trained. Or a a mixture of all 3.

And if you go back and listen to the interviews when Lukaku was sold he said himself he was expecting a replacement, he said a fortnight ago that they are 'little bit light up front' - you don't get this job unless you are 'friendly' toward this board, that means you cover for them - you take the money and shut the fuck up. I 100% agree with this. I know that Ole had little to do with not bringing in a forward but when he said i/we aren't looking to bring in a forward because we want to develop Greenwood right there and then Ole made his bed and now he has to lie in it. Eds happy because he just got 2 of the highest earners off the books, well half with Sanchez and he's made it look like it was Oles choice. The fella is a genius.

Ole signed off on playing with Rashford, Martial and Greenwood. In his own words he didn't want to sign another striker. It's either naivety or stupidity at its best but Ole has to share a large portion of the blame and being tactically clueless he has no plan B.

Not even going to listen to Ole. AZ very good side, bad pitch, injuries and the youth played very well. Bla, Bla Bla. The only positive was Williams but I'm sure once young or Shaw are fit again williams'll be right back at the u23s. Can't even be bothered talking about the game. One of the worst I've seen.

I think Garner can forget about making it at United. The way our CM is and he can't get a game is criminal.

Happy enough with the forward line but that back 4 of Dalot, Lindelof, Rojo and Williams doesn't fill me with confidence. Happy to see that Rashy is on the bench but that's probably more to do with Ole not wanting him to get any rashy burns. Poor fella

Pogba as well. Aren't players supposed to be nursed back after injuries? Hope Ole knows what he's doing.

It's going to be either a borefest 0-0 or an unbelievably bad 4-4. Not much in between

playing good football and winning all our games. Lots to look forward to but as always it’s whinging about transfers. I wouldn't call it whinging, I'd call it common sense 6 games in and down to less than bare bones. I really do feel sorry for Ole. He's had his head in a noose ever since he arrived and between not signing obvious replacements and inheriting not a very good squad that noose is tightening. It's not a knee jerk reaction to todays result but more so the dire performances of the last 4 months or so of football action, but I think it's becoming clearer that Ole isn't the man to take us forward. We talk of Oles vision but what exactly is it? Since he's came in we've played a high pressing game, playing it out from the back, possession game, counter attack and god knows what else. The excuse for the last 3 months last season was the players weren't fit enough. I really don't see any marked difference this season. Injuries will be used as an excuse. Does Pogba being out really debilitate us? I don't think it does. Does Martial being out really debilitate us? Depends on the Martial that shows up but generally no. Does Rashford being out really debilitate us? Not the way he's been playing lately. Don't get me wrong. They are extremely good players but this is where my beef with Ole comes in. A good manager coming in can steady a sinking ship and to give Ole his dues he did that, albeit that ship sure did have big holes in her at the end of the season and was teetering again but a great manager coming in can change the whole dynamic. I remember in 2015 the state Loserpool were in. They probably had worse players than we have now and were playing worse footbal (OK maybe an exaggeration) we beat them 3 or 4 but played them off the park and remember in 2015 we were hardly world eaters but we looked it against them. About a month later Klopp came in and with the same players transformed them in a short space of time. If Klopp had players like Pogba, Martial and Rashford then I would say they would be a massive miss for the team but Ole never has or never will have the know how to change players mentalities to make them world beaters. If he failed at Cardiff what made us think he would succeed for us.?The coaching staff is a the same, nice blokes but no idea on top league tactics. From the manager on down they need to inspire players to take them to the next level. Not going to happen with what we got.

Worked ok for us against PSG even if it was a bit harsh

Worked ok in the world cup and worked ok last night at Granada. Think it should be used more. If the ref doubts his decision he can give himself a second opinion. The refs in the premier seem to be leaving it to studio VAR and studio VAR doesn't seem to want to go against the ref so in the end no-one wants to make the important decisions.

Keane on West Ham's goal Look how easy it is for West Ham. Noble ends up taking nine touches on the ball, there’s no pressure at all. I could say ‘nice little pass, nice little movement, lovely finish’ but where is the pressure on the ball?
“You go back to basics in defending. United have bodies back and there’s no point unless you have pressure on the ball. Look at Noble, it’s too easy. It’s simple.
“It’s a nice bit of quality from West Ham and a lovely finish but it sums up the performance, as usual they’re just not good enough. It’s the basics of football and a lot of players don’t want to do it, I’m amazed.”
