Can narrow down their attacking threats to probably 2 or 3, so once again defence is going to have to play its part. If Darmian is to play I'd probably move him to his natural slot at RB which becomes dependant on the sharpness of Bailly with Rojo moving to LB. Never fully certain with Blind
Those attacking threats are namely Zaha and Benteke for sure and maybe Townsend. They'll try and get it down and play but they will resort to the direct ball and set pieces like most teams who've ever played US. Benteke especially has caused us problems in the past. We know what to expect

Hopefully the start of a handy route for us. Started off very well anyway  Between travel and pretty much everything else.
Villareal Roma looks the best of the rest. Hoping a few of the better sides left get one another in the later rounds. Shame about the Russia v Ukraine embargo.
Full focus on the league now until February

#feeltherelief
First time we've beaten a "top 6" in the league this season and today we went out and actually took the advantage of the win itself combined city's slip yesterday. Now we've have to build on this. Only sour note was the injury to Miki and it's back on the others to step up to the plate. We've got to take advantage now in these next few weeks, top sides are handing out opportunities like confetti and there will be more in the coming weeks.
It's Palace away next and until we put a run of wins together with the ability to see out games we'll still have a question mark over us and team won't lie down once they are still in the contest but today gives us a bit of hope.

Right so, win tomorrow and we're within 3 of Spurs and 6 of City. City v Arsenal & Liverpool on the horizon so favourable results of sorts should arise from those.
Can't keep saying teams above us will drop points if we keep failing to take advantage of these slip ups.
