Names have been mentioned but 2 models of football I don't want to see at this club after watching that 2nd game today from the emirates.
The Arsenal one from today "no mistake but no threat to hurt". Pretty self explanatory but given our circumstances anything looks good.
And good god no to the "party pooper" of Villa/Emery. Don't we all remember Villareal
This was 2nd v 4th in the league afterall so it's a long long road

We must have lulled Liverpool back into their old ways of believing their attacking hype and they just have to turn up and score goals forgetting everything else.
Still reckon they'll come back and beat palace

Are we at peak levels Liverpool yet??? Definitely on the way if we're not there already What do I mean??? Remember we used to ridicule Liverpool when they went out and beat great teams like Fergie's or Real/Barca in Europe??? Knowing full well they would fuck it up in a simpler fixture the following week??? Well this is us at best. We can string a run of wins or performances together. An easy set of fixtures is hard and a tough run of fixtures is hard. What do we actually want I'd like to think we are a bigger club than that not to slip into that painful mindset hoping to spoil someone elses party rather than creating our own. Today's performance is nothing out of the blue so if we do have a plan we should at least be seeing progress by the end of the season. Spurs and Villa are handing opportunity after opportunity for 4th place but we aren't taking them Anyways, the off field stuff will put any of this on the back burner even though its all interlinked

Fernandez and Rashford center backs in front of Onana???
Interesting tactic. Lets see if it pays off

Fair enough
Well there is only so much we can do with regards the opposition.
More to do with our state than anything special about them

Quietly optimistic nothing's an easy fixture with us

Struggling to see it myself, but then I'm looking to beyond this game.
The base line here is probably our previous against City and the obvious comparisons will be made. Not bothered reading too much into it unless it's something that can be applied week in week out

Another "political"/agenda" opportunity for a few individuals.
A game we're expected to lose anyway so opportunties for many to throw in a one off god like performance. Can't attack City like for like so anything outside of that will be seen as a bonus

Just watching the highlights here on MOTD
Our only player to look likely to score today and possibly one our worst defenders in recent memory who done well to stay on the pitch today
I'll gladly settle for that as a fucked up but realistic way of viewing things currently.
