Didn't think our forward line showed up much at all. Except for Cavani but then again he's our player of the season. For all our worries about Maguire before KO I don't think we missed him much as it wasn't a sort of game where he was needed.
Anyway think there was enough in that forward line to be beating Villareal. We knew how they would set up and all that so again a performance that's not new to us. Repeating the same story for a while now.

Throw the sink at these. Best opportunity to do so in years and there's no guarantee Klopp will still be around for next season. So why not finish the job off.
Role reversal from last few years when we were on the way down and them going in the opposite direction. Shoe is on the other foot this time.

Yeah, Sunday's result and performance puts a different outlook on this game even aside from the score in the tie.
But as usual there is an asterix with this United team. I'm still scarred from our UCL exit. I don't need to rabbit on about it but you know what I mean. Mountain out of molehill and all that

Well 2 away goals is Ok but losing players for the return match is not good. Scrappy game and Granada just got physical. Presume there's mourinho style tactics at play by losing them to suspension now instead of the semis or for a possible final. It won't say much for those stepping in if we can't see out this based on the evidence of that Granada performance last night |

I'd be less trusting of us even with a full batch to pick from.
An ah lads "It's only Brighton" mindset would be more what I'd be concerned about.
We've scored 16 in last 6 meetings with Brighton so these are softy enough to hand us the openings our toothless attack so badly need
