I don't agree with the humour here! Apologies....but... Sorry mate, I'm not getting this too. If you meant on the picture I've posted, Blackett's face expression looks very funny to me while watching Falcao doing something (looks like he pulling some weight and struggling with it or, it's a low start from the ground or something). The other lads in the picture are laughing too, so I thought it's a pretty funny situation with Blackett in the focus. There's another similar pic with Rooney doing the same thing and he pulls it very well in comparison.

Club set to accept £14m Man United offer, personal terms sorted, June dealPosted by SPORT WITNESS on March 8, 2015 at 6:52 in Sport Witness Football The Italian claims on Saturday regarding Manchester United and Radja Nainggolan were quite in depth. We've already covered how Gazzetta dello Sport claim Manchester United are readying an offer of around €40m and how Luis van Gaal has made contact personally with the entourage of the AS Roma midfielder. There's more. Nainggolan is jointly owned by AS Roma and Cagliari, a situation common in Italian football. Gazzetta say 'Roma and Cagliari are also talking about the possibility of accepting the offer of Manchester United and selling Belgian midfielder to the British club in June, earning 20 million each.' It'll sting for Roma to get just €20m (around £14m) for Nainggolan and it would have been wiser for them to buy Cagliari out of their side of the bargain last summer, they may have tried. The efforts of the two clubs will be in tandem to get the best fee rather than working against each other and that'll be why Gazzetta suggest they're keen to accept €40m from Manchester United. Nainggolan is good but €40m is more than fair and the Italian clubs would know they'd struggle to match it elsewhere. Nainggolan himself has been in contract talks with Roma for a while but they can't get anywhere near the €4m it's claimed Manchester United have offered the player. Gazzetta call that an 'astonishing' figure and say the offer has already been made to the player. Whilst €4m may not sound much relative to Manchester United wages which are now routinely over £100k a week, the figure quoted in Italy will almost certainly be after tax. sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/club-set-to-accept-14m-man-united-offer-personal-terms-sorted-junCould be some truth in it. A perfect player for us I'd say from what I saw of him, very similar player to Vidal. Would be ecstatic to no end if we buy him.

I've gone for Nainggolan. Normally, it would be King Arturo for me but there's just something about Radja, an effort he puts every time and fighting spirit amongst other things. Also, wasn't fecked up once in the knees and didn't have some major injury. The only issue maybe would be the transformation from Italy to England but not big of a deal regarding him IMO.

If you had an opportunity and power to buy one of those, regardless of the type (defensive, offensive, all rounder etc), who would it be? Young or experienced, short term fix or someone for the future (taking in the note that maybe we don't have a time to wait in relation of settling in and a prolonged absence from the top in all comps). I've left out Pogba assuming he'll go to Madrid or stay another year at Juve as suggested in some of the transfer gossip articles and he would be automatic pick by most I imagine.

Yeah. I thought at first it deflected out of the wall until I saw that video. There were comments on another forums about poor goalkeeping but when you look at it more closely, the goalie couldn't do much more. Trajectory of the ball is indeed wicked.

Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo Scout Says "I prefer Memphis Depay"Ed van Steijn, who scouted Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United, admits he is hugely impressed with PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay, and even prefers him over the Portuguese at the same stage in his career. The Netherlands international has been strongly linked with following in Ronaldo's footsteps by moving to Old Trafford, although he did sign a new deal with PSV last summer to banish transfer speculation for this season at least. Manchester United would be well served by Depay, Van Steijn clearly feels, rating the young winger even above Ronaldo at the same age. Indeed, Van Steijn believes it took Ronaldo some time to eliminate mistakes from his game, while Depay is better formed. "If I compare him to a young Cristiano Ronaldo at the time, then Depay has more strings to his bow. I like him better", the scout told Dutch daily theAlgemeen Dagblad. Ronaldo did even the same things wrong at Manchester United that he did when he was 17", Van Steijn added. Depay has been on fire for PSV so far this season, scoring 16 goals in 22 Eredivisie games and putting the Eindhoven side (error in the article, says Rotterdam) squarely on course to capture the Dutch crown. He also hit six goals in nine games in PSV's Europa League campaign, which was ended by Andre Villas-Boas' Zenit St. Petersburg side last month. www.insidefutbol.com/2015/03/07/manchester-uniteds-cristiano-ronaldo-scout-says-i-prefer-memphis-depay/193462/?
