To be fair, Blind at left back is a disaster waiting to happen, especially against the pace of Arsenal.
He is no where near dynamic enough to play that role in the BPL imo.

I don't see how Di Maria starts this game. He really needs to be dropped, give a start to Januzaj who has looked lively when given a chance.

Here we go again, overrated word as it comes. Jo, Ramires, Silva, Azpilicueta, Isla, Sanchez (ARS), Dos Santos, Lavezzi, Messi. Pretty much looks competent just from those 5 matches without looking at his Ajax days as a left back and against some pacey players there. He'd also have Carrick next to him when defend.

Like the idea of a straight 4-3-3 myself actually but not sure which combination of 3 I'd like in midfield as I think Mata might be worth a start for this game at the tip of the 3.

It ends just when they actually get round to talking about the Arsenal match...

I fucking well hope so. It's been toooo long. Jesus, I remember taking the league and (fa) cup double as a done deal every other season or so. 11 years is ridiculous.

Yeah, just unreal. We've been winning everything on our path except this one. The last time it was in the first Ronaldo's season. It's hard to imagine that we didn't win it in Rooney's, Carrick's, Evra's and Vidić's time here but the focus was mainly on the PL and CL. That doesn't justify the lack of interest in the oldest cup of course if it can be said like that. It's about time to put our hands on it and the chances are very good with the Liverpool as the main threat. Wouldn't like to say "the only threat" but I have the confidence, unlike the last season (dross) and the Fergie era in the late years (lack of true interest of winning it).

We opted out of it after the treble season to play in the club world cup. Surely we could have played a second team to participate.

That's an awful headline... We're tied with Arsenal with 11 wins apiece.
