If you had an opportunity and power to buy one of those, regardless of the type (defensive, offensive, all rounder etc), who would it be? Young or experienced, short term fix or someone for the future (taking in the note that maybe we don't have a time to wait in relation of settling in and a prolonged absence from the top in all comps). I've left out Pogba assuming he'll go to Madrid or stay another year at Juve as suggested in some of the transfer gossip articles and he would be automatic pick by most I imagine.

Schneiderlin gets the nod over Vidal for me, age, body damage sustained, etc. But Pogba is who would best fit what we need.

I voted for others, I would go for Geoffrey Kondogbia.

I've gone for Nainggolan. Normally, it would be King Arturo for me but there's just something about Radja, an effort he puts every time and fighting spirit amongst other things. Also, wasn't fecked up once in the knees and didn't have some major injury. The only issue maybe would be the transformation from Italy to England but not big of a deal regarding him IMO.

Out of those it's Schneiderlin all day long, proven premier league player. But ultimately I'm keeping a modicum of hope that we're in with a chance of getting Pogba back.

Very tough choice. In terms of what we really need now, I would go either for Nainggolan or Schneiderlin. Nainggolan is a more aggressive player, and in many games he could certainly give us a massive boost. But Schneiderlin imo is more composed, and would suit LVG's tactical approach better I guess. So I'd probably go for Schneiderlin who is also a realistic option.
That being said, we're kidding ourselves if we think one CM enough. Carrick isn't getting any younger, and rotation will be needed next season. In my view, we need at least two CM's and LVG will need to be very wise when selecting them. It's high time we improved that area.

Most certainly we'll buy one, it would be ridiculous not to. As for two, I'd like it too, a deep lying playmaker would be my pick, maybe Modrić or Gündogan from my list, others are not best suited for that role. Central midfield containing Nainggolan/Schneiderlin - Modrić/Gündogan - di Maria/Herrera would be really something!

Sami Khedira on what could be a free transfer as of right now
Khedira + Herrera midfield seems like a really good spine to have
Radja, Schniederlin or Carvalho also seem like really good options (who all offer something different)

Would like to change the poll for people to vote for two CM's but don't know how.

Only 8 votes so far. Underwhelming.
People don't really know what they want or something else?
