I wonder how big the tour squad will be this summer?
Van Gaal got his wish of having one less game and less travelling time so you'd imagine we might have a couple more games at home or in Europe. We took 25 last year for the 5 games, there doesn't seem much point in taking that many when there's less playing time to go about.

On the U21s, I could only watch the first 20 minutes last night, I didn't know it was on Sky or I would've planned accordingly
It says a lot for Warren Joyce that we look likely to take the U21 title again, it's been a mish-mash squad all season with the number of loans and players yo-yoing to and from the first team, the way he constantly puts a cohesive team together has to be applauded.

Yeah he's done a fantastic job year in, year out. I think it helps that he's a bit of an imposing, authoritative figure.. Looks like the sort of guy you wouldn't wanna piss off. Just what some of these young kids need.

I remember him saying that Wilson should keep his feet on the ground and that's exactly the kind of guy he strikes me as - no nonsense, keep your head down and work your ass off. It seems to be paying off

Pereira is the U21 player of the year as many expected. Hopefully he can kick on next season and get some chances in the first team.

Hopefully there's a few lads not playing, which would give more hope they'll be involved tomorrow instead!

1-0. Rochdale gift us the ball right near their area and Fletcher does well with a cool finish. The kid's an absolute monster, looks to have grown considerably over the summer and he was a big lad before hand!
