1-0 Wilson....Pereira picks it up in their half, goes by a couple of players, plays a bit of a loose pass but Janko gets to it and plays the through ball for Wilson to run onto who goes round the keeper and puts it away. Good goal.

Was reading something from one of people who follows the youth teams religiously the other day about Pereira. He says that since making his first team debut and becoming a regular in the squads, his form for the U21s has gone up another level.
He's becoming more consistent and having a real influence on games. Hopefully he can carry on that progression because there's real talent there. Arguably more natural ability than Januzaj.

I have to agree, he's been much better this season. As the guy says, he's starting to perform well on a consistent basis but he is still prone to a 20 minute spell where he goes missing. Januzaj was just controlling games and looking clearly above this level and Wilson although he doesn't control the game, he looks too good for this level of football. Pereira on the whole looks like he's at the right level at the moment. There's a hell of a lot of natural ability there though, that's for sure.
It's 1-1 now, it's been coming for a while, Amos didn't necessarily make a mistake but he doesn't look like saving anything, they just hit the bar as well now.

Just as I say that Amos makes a quality save and tips an effort over the bar.

2-1 Leicester, they've dominated for a while now. Before the goal Amos made another quality save which resulted in a corner, from the corner the ball dropped in the box and Albrighton hammered it home, Amos actually looks like he turns away from the shot, not the first time he's done that today. No bravery whatsoever.

2-2, Shot from outside the area by Keane, going to be comfortably saved by the keeper, until a Leicester defender decided to head it into the bottom left hand corner.

Fantastic bit of skill from Wilson there as he flicks it over the defenders head for himself to run onto, gets a cross in but cleared by the defence. Quality bit of play though. Wilson goes off now with half an hour to go. If Falcao isn't fit there's a case to be made for him to start vs Palace.

Pereira off as well, seems him and Wilson are really knocking on the door of the first team.

Been a nasty game this, a lot of bad challenges flying in particularly from Leicester and particularly from Tom Lawrence. Just got a yellow for kicking out at Harrop. I really love the bite Pearson has, I think if he doesn't make it at United he'll definitely carve out a decent career for himself. Just full of natural passion and determination.

And Tom Lawrence sets up Jack Barmby in stoppage time for what looks an almost certain winning goal for Leicester.

Janko seems to have been turned into a full blown attacking player now.. He's one of the strongest U21's I've ever seen and would be able to handle the physicality of the Premier League right now but his all round game isn't quite there yet. Comparing him to the likes of Wilson, Pereira and even young Josh Harrop, he doesn't really stand out as much as those guys do.
Reece James looked very good last night, he moved into a central midfield role towards the end of the game and his passing was fantastic, LVG showing a bit of faith in him seems to have given him a big boost.

didn't get to watch it, but it sounds like we were a bit unfortunate not get something from the game. Interesting update about James playing centrally.
