An attack minded manager would be a start. We've employed two managers who have played some of the most dull, drab football I've ever witnessed. Agree ........ So it can't be José ... Why not? Last season Chelsea scored 73 goals and conceded 32. In 2012, Real Madrid scored 103. If this isn't attack minded, what is?

Madrid scored 50 under Benitez. Not all about goals.

Yeah I've gone off Jose. I want someone young. Pep is too much of a short term fix, albeit a very good one. Give it to Giggs for me. Try and build for the future. If not Giggs I'd be going all out for Pochettino.

Mou always has a destructive presence around him which is definitely something we don't need after our last 2 managers. Pep is certainly the one for me even if it is a short term fix. It would make the next managers job a lot more easier and his philosophy is identical to our own. Pochittino would definitely be worth a mention but the more of a name he makes for himself the sooner Madrid will come a calling which would probably make him short term as well. Giggs under Pep (not literally) would be my ideal choice and when Pep does go Giggs should be more than ready.

Never a done deal until it's signed on the dotted line.

I used to be against Giggs as a manager, and I still am in a way if we're to close the gap with the super powers out there (Barca, Madrid, Bayern, ...). But we have come to a point where we're so bad that we need to recreate a spirit, to recreate a desire to play and fight for the club, to attack, attack, and attack for 90min, to never give up and make life unbearable for the opposition.
Giggs was that type of player, and perhaps he could let that real philosophy sink in everyone's head.
I think we won't make the top-4. But is it the most important part? Financially, on the short-term, yes, perhaps. But on the long-term, we need to recreate that identity we have lost with Moyes and LVG, that attacking spirit and never-say-die attitude I described above.
Give Giggs a try, let Scholes, Rene and Phelan come in as well, and let's at least have those players move their ass and show some bite. That's the best we can hope for to salvage this season imo.
But it's clear t me: LVG must go now. No way around it. Wait for Pep all you want, but get rid of a man who is making us soft, desireless, uncreative and unfighting.

I just don't see the board doing it mid season. I mean, now would be the time to do it if you are going to do it, but i just don't get that vibe.
