Right so it's Soton up next who after a bit of a dip have picked up again, we need to start going on a little run and after the Pool win we should have gained some confidence going into to this.
Have to see how we are on the injury front but I'd like to see something like this:
De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, BJ, Schneiderlin, Basti, Lingard, Rooney, Memphis, Martial.
Januzaj off the bench at some point as well.

It'll be a tough game but I think they'll have a go at us rather than sitting back so I fancy us. As you say, we need to go on a run. I'd go: DDG Darmian Smalling Blind Young Schneiderlin Herrera Pereira Lingard Rooney Martial Pereira deserves a chance in the first team. I know the above formation is unlikely but even if he goes 4-2-3-1, I'd have Pereira at 10 with either Herrera/Basti partnering Schneiderlin.

I don't see him playing Herrera deep but I wouldn't mind Pereira getting a shot in the 10 either though the Derby match seems more likely for him.

I think we'd all love to see Pereira, but if he's gonna play it will most likely be from the bench. I like the idea of Young at LB as he will bring some good crosses so I'd go with De Gea Darmian Smalling Blind Young Schneiderlin Schweinsteiger Lingard Herrera Martial Rooney

I was presuming Young would be injured, soon find out anyway.

Oh is he... well I'd have BJ if so. I have no idea who's injured and who's not.
I'm still wondering whether Rooney up front would be a good idea

Well Young ruled out with a severe groin injury for a long time, that settles it then

Basti and Jones also out. So defence is a real bitch now, no option but to play BJ at left back. He's done OK since coming in and is clearly a talent but I'd worry about him up against Mane, who more or less occupies the right hand side of the pitch for them.
I pray he goes 4-3-3 so we don't have to see Fellaini start the game. With Basti out I would definitely go with my front 6 from above. Doubt we'll see it though, no doubt Fellaini starts.

Damn, Basti and Carrick still out. Sounds like Young could be out for a while as well, really low on fullbacks so might have to dip into the market.
I'd agree 433, no Fellaini hopefully, at home we should be more positive with our selection.

I don't buy into the whole changing systems. If there's anything we learned so far is that we don't change stuff so Schneiderlin - Fellaini with Herrera ahead

Systems. I doubt we'll change it now, although we did last year around that time

I meant more for this match, he will change things depending on the opposition. We are at home so should set up to be positive, Pelle is just coming back from injury so probably won't start and in the middle of the pitch they have quick and nifty players which is just not set up for Fellaini imo. You are probably right though, we're unbeaten this year with that formation so probably will stick
