Carricks injured and it's sounding like Basti won't be fit enough either  Jones a possible as well and Januzaj might make the bench. If Jones is fit enough to partner Smalling at CB, then why not move Blind into midfield with Morgan in the holding role where I think Blind will be more effective with his passing range as it is his more natural position. Herrera alongside and Martial, Rooney and Lingard up top. |

Now watch Fellaini have his best game and score a brace. You heard it here first. I would be overjoyed and would eat humble pie if he scores and has a stellar performance against them ....I'd still sell him at the end of the season though. :lol: |

Was thinking the same myself but I doubt it would happen. I'd say Basti will be begging LVG to play and wouldn't be surprised to see him line up on Sunday I hope anyway. |

Liverpool's midfield is mostly physical, and Blind's intelligence could provide either useful to dismantle them tactically speaking, or tricky if he gets bullied. Would be an interesting call nonetheless. That being said, I doubt Blind is suddenly going to play in midfield in such a big game and such a vital one potentially. I still expect Schneiderlin, Fellaini and Herrera to form our CM. With Rooney, Martial and Lingard upfront. Ideally we must win it. But we must above all avoid to lose it. If we're serious top-4 contenders, we must now start picking up points very quickly and beat each rival, but mostly avoid giving them points. |

Thought the game was today only to realize it's not Sunday.
Anyway, Jones is out so not a chance for Blind to be anywhere near the midfield. Now just waiting to see if Bastian can play

lol. Yeah, but we've been in 7 - 15 degrees since last Autumn, this is the first proper cold snap we've had - we got real snow!
I'll guarantee Fellaini gets booked early today all them mid fielders will want to be running about putting tackles in, to keep warm. Nobhead is guaranteed to mistime at least one and catch someone.
