Absolute wank. No positives today and anyone saying at least we're in the next round is seriously clutching at straws. Mustered up 2 shots on target at home against a league 1 side, 1 of them a penalty than won it for us in stoppage time.
Fucking embarrassing.

Got the win,but horrendous performance again. I'd love to have LVG's lottery numbers, the luckiest man in England at the moment.

LVG is indeed a lucky man. We have been playing that shit football for ages now and nothing has been done. Either change the system or get players in that will fit in perfectly. Nothing is done, it's becoming embarrassing. I've lost faith in LVG, he doesn't look like he knows what he is doing anymore. Every week I expect an improvement, only to be left dissappointed. it's like the lads are doing nothing on the training ground.
Something must change, but what?

Awful from us and yet 2 wins on the trot but no pride to take home from this match ........ As Pellegrini would say "we took the 3 points" .
Feel sorry for the fans at OT tonight paying to see that .............. Something has to change
Well done Memphis got the penalty call and looked hungry at least
Marshall and Smalling put in a shift but it hardly covers the gaping lags in our game ...... Papering over cracks at the moment and hard to be confident away to Newcastle on Tuesday .... Will that be the match to break the camels back ???

Need a manager who's not afraid to experiment when his team is failing. Stubbornness is not an admirable quality

Yeah I agree. I can't understand why nothing is changing, why not one coach is trying to make things work better, why and how Giggs can stay so calm? Why the players keep playing that shit football? Why the board can't see it for themselves? It's like everyone is running away from their responsabilities. When the stadium laughs when you have a shot on target, surely you must have a look in the mirror?
I am lost for words now.

It really is baffling why we keep coming up with these lifeless performances and the only thing I can come with is the dressing room has been well and truly lost. Even when we brought on our flair players like Pereira, Memphis and even Jesse little changed but if that was the case then why is VG still in charge? Maybe the higher ups are waiting until the end of the season to try and get either Pep or Simeone because if they sack VG now the only alternatives are Mou or Giggs. Still much rather see Giggs given a chance even if it is only to the end of the season because the way things are going we could lose more than just sponsors.

I have lost faith in LVG as well now. He is too rigid and unwilling to change, as Miguel says he appears completely unwilling to experiment with the team. It's the same old shit every game with the same setup, it's like he's just hoping that eventually we'll start playing well. I thought we were employing a manager to do more than hope. Players are consistently underperforming and so is the system. Yet he will not change it.
It's fucking dross and although I'm not going to go all out and say I want him sacked right now I couldn't give a shit if he was.

I thought he might loosen up a little and mix things up but it doesn't look like it is going to happen sadly. I don't know whether it's age, stubbornness or fear of losing and getting sacked that he has arrived at this point. He said in the post match presser virtually everything that we said - and then said: 'but we can work on that, it is fixable' But where is the consistency of performance and the evidence he can get them to do it week-in / week-out? It's just not happening for him, it's like the ship has already sailed when I listen to him. I don't want him sacked because I think it'll do more harm than good at this point, and I reckon the board do too. So we just limp on and hope we get top 4 and change manager in the Summer - again.
