Nothing wrong with that lineup. Ideally Mata wouldn't be there but there's nobody else.

Hopefully they show some passion and fight, even if we lose.

Hard to believe that we have a must-win against a resurgent Chelsea side today. LVG must be shitting bricks.

Hardly call them resurgent. They've won a game and drawn the other.

If we turn up we should win it, but they have been playing a lot better lately

Absolutely no criticism of the performance or tactics today. We played with passion, aggression, intensity, commitment and fought for everything. If we'd got a bit of luck we'd have won and won comfortably.
It is, nevertheless another game without a victory and a goalless draw against a Chelsea side that offered nothing. I think this game will have no real impact on LVG's future as I thought we'd probably sack him or part ways to put it more amicably, regardless of the result.
What today did prove is that this is still a good group of players who still have a lot to give, no matter who is in charge in the new year and whoever it is will have something to work with.

I think we started strongly but as the game progresses, we went back to playing boring and shit possession football devoid of any ideas and creativity upfront again.

If only we had played like that all season. I'm sure the goals would have come.
