Anyone fancy Warren Joyce as manager and Giggs taking the route via the U21's for some seasons?
The more I think about this matter the more I relialize what a BIG decision this is and there are good reason for any of them, even LVG despite all the silly things he does. Honestly I dont want to be in Woodwards shoes here. This is a seriously tough decision.
If only we acted in December by replacing LVG with Giggs, temporarily until end of season. We would have a better idea if Giggsy should stay in this position for longer or not.

Aye it's very tough. It's the reason the club haven't made a decision yet in my opinion. There aren't many viable options out there in terms of looking at the long term future at the club.
Out of the 3 I would've really liked, 1 has agreed to take over a club next season, 1 took over a club part way through this season and 1 has had such a good season at his current club that I don't think he'll jump ship so soon. These are Ancelotti, Klopp and Pochettino. Any of those 3 would've been ideal, now we're left with Jose who is a great manager, no doubt but leaves a path of destruction in his wake wherever he goes. Simeone, who's just an absolute headcase. Staying with LVG which is undesirable considering the poor football we've seen this season but he's on the verge of winning a trophy and getting us in the top 4 ahead of City. Then you've got Giggs who has done absolutely nothing to suggest he's ready for a job of this magnitude.
Warren Joyce is a fanciful idea and not as daft as it sounds. He knows the club inside out, commands respect from the young players at the club and has them playing decent football, generally better than our first team plays! Doesn't have the pulling power to attract players to the club though.

I'd argue Joyce is pivotal where he is and we need him there.

Fair point. He's doing an excellent job with the u21's, no need to take him out of that environment.

All the papers have the news that Jose to United is hours away. For me that's 5 months late. Should have been done in December.

Sky Italy talking bollocks.
Nothing's going to happen/be announced before the cup final.

Supposedly we've told Jose the job is his if Louis leaves this summer. We're effectively letting an unsuccessful manager decide his own fate. Unless we're trying to slightly nudge him in the right direction.
