Would you like to see Jose take the reins at Old Trafford? I personally believe that he is a top top manager, but does his style of football suit the fans?Granted, he is known to attract silverware wherever he goes, but he doesn't like academy players. He only goes for "stars". This is contrary to the United tradition. It might be better to wait and get Pep, if he can be convinced of joining the "red Manchester". If he does join Man City as expected, we will be playing catch-up for a very long time. I don't like this. All the top managers with the exception of Mourinho and Guardiola are spoken for. I feel that we will have a long winter ahead.

People were angry with LVG's style. I don't think Mourinho's teams are much different - they're a borefest. I've always hated him. So my answer would be no, I don't want him.

If you want a very short term manager who can win titles at the expense of everything, including youth systems, then he's your man.
I can't stand the cunts football, in fact I'd go as far as to say; I'm not sure I'd bother watching them on TV if he takes over.

You wait for Pep.
OR you put Giggs in with an experienced No2 and No3.
Preferably Muelenstein and Ferguson

If the threat of mourinho coming if VG gets binned doesn't give the players a kick up the back side then nothing will. Mata to score 7 in the next 2 games

Always has been and always will be a no for me.
As Ed has said you wait for Pep, he is the ideal and logical choice at this moment.
If we can't get him then we find a man who fits the etho's of the club, if a manager plays attractive attacking football the players more than likely will buy into it and generally success will follow especially with the money and quality that we can attract. There are plenty of talented managers out there.
Patience isn't a strong suit within football mind, if you want immediate success but lose everything else then Mourinho is the man and then it's back to square one in 3 years.

Rumours going round that he's been sacked. Only twitter bullshit at the minute though. Don't expect it to be true.

It's been just like the transfer windows all over again on there.

If we indeed did fire him, does anyone think of another manager than Mourinho? Giggs until Pep arrives? Or someone else?

I wouldn't be against Giggs but he would be a huge risk, even for half a season. What do we do if Giggs comes in for half the season but gets us playing outstanding football and finishing comfortably inside the top 4? Still bring in Pep or would it be worth sticking with him?

Then I'd stick with him without a doubt. Right now I am completely against Giggs taking over. Even for half the season. But if he is indeed appointed and does well, then I see no reason why we shouldn't stick with him and start another dynasty. But I don't think this will happen. Giggs alone can't do that. He would still need a good and experienced tactician as his assistant at the very least. But looking at it the other way, if we appoint Mourinho, I want Giggs to stay put and keep learning his trade as well as "controlling" Mourinho.

I think we'll get someone else in too. But I'd let Giggs go at that point, go and get a job and prove yourself and come back here after the inevitable Mourinho implosion.

after the inevitable Mourinho implosion As much as Mourinho has behaved like a cunt everywhere he has been (well mostly), I still think it would be slightly different at United. I think he respect SAF and this club too much to be his usual ass. He knows SAF is still around, still "above" everyone else, and Jose respects him like no other manager, and that is a fact. So perhaps he would be just that less "cunt" and be an acceptable manager.
