If he doesn't put Young on the bench he'd have literally had to ask Giggs to kit up and get on there at this rate.

 yeah thought it was bizzare that Young wasn't in, but him saying he wasn't fit enough now makes sense. I doubt he would have left him out otherwise.
Anyway, my two cents pretty much echo the general idea - we were shit, the kids did their best but should not be there, Bournemouth deserved it and we should have done way better even with all the crazy injuries, that you can't ignore. I remember we had 11 last year, but now 10 are first team players which with the light squad that we have to begin with is simply a catastrophe.
Carrick said it, no matter what they say, the only thing that matters now is results. We've gotten ourselves in the same situation as last year and I'm not sure if we've improved that much, even with the signings. Somehow I think Shaw's injury was the turning point, because before that we looked a completely different side, passing the ball around but still had plenty of attack in us. Very disappointing but hopefully we'll pick up some points next

I discussed the match beforehand with my brother in law who lives in London. I originally had us down to beat them 0 - 2. But his remarks were that they are not a bad side, their pitch is rather tight and they know just how to make the best use of it. So I changed it to a 1 -1 draw. He said no they will beat you. As he is a Man City supporter I ignored that advice. SILLY ME !!!!!
LVG said the lads are not playing as he wants them to ! I know you have to have some framework but you must not stamp out individual Flair and Creativity. Rooney is playing shite because as captain he is expected to follow LVG's plan and relay it to the rest of the lads.
We got beaten by Bournemouth for crying out loud. LVG - how about next game tell the lads to stuff the plan and go out and enjoy yourselves !
The United of old had the belief that "we do not care how many you score because we will score at least one more ".
I have to laugh each time I make a post because my Profile pic is then labelled "Junior Member" I am probably the oldest member at age 70 so please could it not say "geriatric member" I would take it as an Honour to be so referred to.

With 9 first team players out, not available, a 1-1 was a good call. It's what I mentally had down beforehand.
They nicked it by a flukey wind assisted 1st minute goal - Win some, lose some, when you've got no adequate cover.

Defense failed us this time. I know it's not the kids' fault as they should not be making their debut on a situation like this, Blind tried to cover the whole CB but he just couldn't focus. I didn't even realize McNair was there.

LVG knew the injury list, picked the starting eleven, the bench players and dictated the substitutions. !!!!
So therefore he had control did he not. So he has been spending time Stamping on how the team should play.
As they say in Yorkshire, " hay yup " with so many regulars out and so many stand-ins in who actually knows what the Plan is ?
So think outside the box and work out an alternative plan.
But no, play my way, it may be boring but I have to think about my retirement plan because Uk Pounds versus the Euro come at a premium.
Time to go before you spend even more on Credit for players you think will follow the MASTERS PLAN "
Give Ryan Giggs a go NOW.

If anyone thinks Giggs is going to be our saviour, they'd be in for a surprise.
Everyone should just accept the fact that unless we collapse in an unimaginable way, LVG will be here till the season ends.

I think that if the opportunity for hiring a top manager opens up, they'd be willing to let LVG go after the season.
