At home to West Ham on Saturday. Our home form has been very solid and I expect us to pick up 3 points against them. I know they've been playing very well away from home against the top sides but i don't see a similar outcome against us as we don't play as open as the other big teams do at home. I very much expect a pretty dominant performance possession wise with us nicking a goal either side of half time. Don't expect a blistering display, just a typically solid and controlled days work.
Don't know about team news but I just hope Rooney picked up a little knock and that Lingard is fit.

Rojo ruled out 'for weeks' with shoulder injury he got in training

Rojo ruled out 'for weeks' One of Rojo or Jones has to go and make way for a not injury prone CB imo. I know it's harsh, but if Smalling were to pick up an injury, there is no one there able to stand up and do the work. I actually rate Rojo and Jones as CB, but I don't trust their fitness. Smalling and Blind have been incredibly reliable on that front so far, finger crossed it doesn't change. But we need at least one more reliable CB. On West Ham, I hope we don't make the mistake of taking them lightly. Their win at Anfield, the Ethiad and the Emirates is a strong signal they can be dangerous away from home. against the big sides.

Tricky call because either, or both, could do a Smalling within 12 months. I'm convinced Jones will grow out of it (being a dick getting injured) it just remains to be seen if he can make that last step as Smalling has done. Rojo is still raw and wild for me but you can see the potential there. VG is shrewd enough defensively to cover most defensive deficiencies in the short term, but we are definitely light if Smalling is missing.

It's unusual for me but I'm siding with Manchester United!
They aren't playing well but they just don't lose. There's certainly something about Louis van Gaal's side.
I'm going for a 2-0 United win because West Ham have hit a bit of a brick wall after their brilliant early season form.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

With that team news I'd be going with Dave Darmian Smalling Blind Young Schmidfield Lingard Mata Martial Memphis Mata's chance to prove himself centrally with the pace that would surround him.

Not sure he'll bring Lingard straight back in and it's a shame that Herrera is still out, as he'd be the one for that no.10 slot.
I think we might go similar to Watford but with Martial and a back three. Is Fellaini worth a shout given his u21 performance and the Hammers physicality.. possibly.

Possibly, may even see Pereira. Which I wouldn't be against.

Hopefully whoever covers for Rooney make that spot his own tomorrow. I would very much like that attack as I believe it's the best we can do at the moment until we add some firepower:
Lingard - Mata - Martial -------- Depay ---------
I personally hope to see more of Pereira soon, because he does have something special, although perhaps still a bit young/inexperienced. But I believe he has massive potential.

I feel like Martial has to be up front over Memphis... it bothers me as if it were an OCD issue.
