I'm enjoying the transition so far and we're on the right track, he just needs to loosen it up a bit in getting to the final third and beyond. Here's a major philosophical difference that was exposed this morning: www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/30/louis-van-gaal-manchester-united-strikersLouis van Gaal: 'nine touches are all a striker really needs to score goals' “I was manager of Bayern, and there the striker was Mario Gomez, and he touched the ball nine times as an average in a game,” Van Gaal said.Wayne Rooney needs the ball and plenty of touches to even feel like he's in the game, Gary Lineker he is not. We're a world away from being as clinical as VG thinks we're going to be. So he needs to listen to me, and loosen up.

What you notice with Lingard isn't just that he always looks to play the ball forward. Look where he moves as soon as he makes the pass, he's always moving forward in general. I think as the season progresses we're going to see him feature more and more.
He's a clever little player with a good all round attacking game, he's not super quick but certainly doesn't lack pace, he's got great movement, and is superb at finding pockets of space where the opposition don't pick him up. He's also a very good finisher and possesses a decent long shot. Add to that he's incredibly hard working and will track back all day.
If he keeps getting his chances this season I think he could be in the England squad by the end of the season.

Really quick over the first 10, Lingard and he's got a trick in there too if needed, it's where it counts most in the final third. I'm always impressed by his full blooded challenges, and he's actually good at them. He's not scared to get stuck in, I like that aspect to him.

I like him and glad he is finally getting the chance he has always deserved and is taking it to be honest, he is an adaptable multifunctional player that LVG likes and could be the one that kind of replaces Young in the way he plays. I hope he progresses even further and Mata or Memphis must be careful because this kid could take advantage of their inconsistencies.

I'd honestly prefer to sit in shit loaded boxers all day than watching us win the league winning 1-0 playing boring football.

I'm always happy. Except when I'm not Happy with the midfield 3. Prefer Rojo as CB with Blind LB. Prefer to see Rooney sitting beside me in the pub instead of on the pitch.

Very talented. Big strong lad already despite only being 17 (maybe 18) and is excellent on the ball. He won our youth player award last season.

Palace had a good opening 10 minutes but we've dominated since.
Just need to speed up the play and create more.
And play Martial central.
