Early goal and I think it will be a romp.

Swansea have made a great start and, like Manchester United, they are still unbeaten. I am going to go for a Swans' win here too. Defensively, United have been really good so far and that is one of their strengths but I think the Welsh side have got the tools to beat them. My biggest concern about this United side is still the pace at which they play. At times it is pedestrian. They have other problems too - I will be absolutely staggered if Louis van Gaal has not bought a new centre-forward by Tuesday morning.
They can probably make do and mend with the centre-backs they have got at the club. But, up front? Yes, they are OK with the players they have already got but United should not just be 'OK'. There has to be a wow factor, and there is none of that with their attack at the moment.
Lawro's prediction: 2-1
Prepare to be staggered..

Definitely expecting a tight game, I think Schweinsteiger should start again, and hopefully Herrera. But with all these 'experts' predictions, we should be looking forward to 4+ goals

Impossible to predict the outcome of that game.
I think it will also partly be decided by LVG's team selection to be fair.

Swansea were great vs Chelsea but struggled to draw with Sunderland who have been dreadful. Swansea are a tricky side but don't have anywhere near as much quality as we do. Merson talks about it like we're evenly matched sides on paper, which is absolute bullshit.
Of course they can beat us but as far as I'm concerned to do this, they still have to be 100% on top of their game and hope we're a little off ours.

I'm liking that team also Dave. Winning this one would give us a good idea of our direction.

Van Gaal says Januzaj picked up an injury in midweek and misses Swansea, although I think most expected him dropped anyway.
More to the point...
Looks like we'll get the shape and team we all want.

Looks like either Herrera or Fellaini in the no.10.

Looks like either Herrera or Fellaini in the no.10. I'll take that. We will be much better with either of them. Januzaj's overall play has been good, but his positioning has been wrong resulting in problem in our link up play. In the 15 min or so Herrera played in that position, we were so much better. Besides, It's undeniable that Herrera and Mata have an excellent understanding. Both play better side by side.

I hope one of the young guys takes Januzaj's place in the squad then. Be good to see Pereira, Lingard or Wilson there.

Problem is he is right about the lack of pace,we look solid and hard to break down but going forward even in the first half Wednesday we are far to slow,I hope Herrera can play the 10 role but in all honesty I think even then we need a striker at the very least to mount a serious attack at getting our trophy back.

Agree with Dave's line-up
I think we will win this comfortably. The team which used to park the bus only caused problems to us and I don't see Swansea doing that, we cannot compare last season with this, as we are much stronger this time. 3-1 United win.

I'd rather have Herrera starting, and keep Fellaini on the bench in case we can't break them, so he can go forward and pick up the high balls.
