Same goes for Rooney who missed the sitter first. Mata was in a good position to score as well from the cross but unfortunately got blocked perfectly. Rooney could have done better with his header but he didn't etc. If's and but's... |

I am very confident about next season and surely we can win the title. We had 3 important first team players who were not fit to play and yet we dominated the 'soon to be Champions' at their home. We can take a lot of positives from this game.
And this season no team has managed to beat us badly even when we were struggling to find the right balance and with all the injuries we had (only talking about EPL so leave out MK Dons) and when we hit the form we completely dominated the opposition.
Next season under LVG we will be a force imo, he found the balance and with few additions to the squad we will be good enough to win the title.
