Is it worth something to be said about the referee yesterday?
Like, Dave's handball outside the box, uncalled fouls on Fellaini by Zouma and the other way round, foul on Falcao when they scored, failing to give a yellow card for Herrera's dive, blatant fouls all over the pitch on both sides not given, failing to send off Drogba... Anything else?
Inept moron!
Edit: In the added time, no football has been played in those 4 minutes, only subs and rolling on the floor!
Actually, he gave Herrera yellow, that one he got right at least, needed to check.

Maybe I need to calm down and re-watch the game... But it looked like this at the time.

Good performance yesterday no complaints about it with that patched up midfield, to think that we could dominate the would be champions with that team is amazing. We missed Carrick for what Marc pointed out but we missed him for the fact that he was going to give a chance to Herrera to go further forward and link up with Mata. Mourinho with that Zouma tactic eliminated Fellaini in the game in terms of being the outlet and what he could do to threaten them through our set pieces, which in a way also nullified Young and Mata because it was easy marking Mata without having to worry about Fellaini and Young on the other side. Shaw made the width on the left side and was brilliant and it was just one of those days, the chance Falcao and Rooney had you would like to think RVP would have buried them but oh well that's the only thing I can have qualms about. McNair was brilliant surging forward and defensively after playing for the first time in a long time. Next season LVG will know how to break Mourinho down I am sure of that, can't wait.

Breaking up the triangle of Herrera-Mata-Valencia had a big influence on our penetration through the right flank and the similar can be said for the left side with Fellaini being man marked almost to perfection. But even without Carrick and Blind we had some golden goalscoring opportunities which we didn't convert and that's not Mourinho's fault, he got it right at the end, it panned out like that. Big positive were Shaw and Paddy, both showed that they have a future here. The same cannot be said for Blackett. I'm sorry but I can't see him succeed here. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Me too, like some people I agree when di maria came on he should have taken Shaw off and Young at left back that would have given us something that side I think. Mourinho always does that against inform teams and I think it will backfire next season with the players and squad we may potentially have. Januzaj didn't influence the game unfortunately and ADM as well although his corner was the best one we had, what I like about him is that he still tries to create and force a mistake out of the defence, he will be great next season.

Yeah Mourinho can go on about how it went exactly how they wanted but it's a risky game to play as it's shown in the past when he's done it, we had more than enough chances to win, just weren't clinical enough Yesterday. Against a more complete United side next season I don't think he'll have the same success.

Maybe I am being a bitter loser but hasn't this season been like the one when RVP took us to the tittle, everyone except for Chelsea have been poor SBD inconsistent for long periods. Even when Chelsea have been poor by their standards they still have enough to win, it just feels like a repeat of that season, hopefully next season is a lot more competitive. I won't complain about any signings VG makes whether I agree or not, I know he has a grand plan.

You just need to look at their games against PSG, the more complete and gelled team than our is. With a new additions to the squad I am more than sure we'll roll them over next season. Also agree with the points about di Maria and the season when RvP arrived, although it was a different type of football we played, but the rest of the league were bellow standards for the EPL. This season's Chelsea, as the elect champions are nowhere close of the required standard that should be set. They are limping to the title which they've won in November it appears!
We, as a team in transition and someones who learning a new way of playing were showed that we're not a weaker and inferior opponent, au contraire. The level of quality in the EPL will raise next season that's for sure and United will be the main reason for that, the rest of the league will need to follow.

I would say so, City going tits up so early really sank any credible challenge to a Mourinho who has sussed out exactly what he needs to win the BPL (he's got it figured, exactly like Fergie did). Liverpool were never going to recover from Saurez loss, Arsenal were never credible challengers but have done well with no pressure, and United were 7th last season and needed a rebuild after the wheels fell off under Moyes. Mourinho has it figured, I assume LVG is watching intently.
Bit of shrewd buying in the Summer and we've more than got the capability to challenge for domestic and European titles. We just need to not explode in this run in and make sure we finish top 4 - 3 would be better tho.

Yeah, Liverpool replaced Suarez with Balotelli and bought some more dross to complement it perfectly, never in the run. Arsenal always doing well when the pressure is off and City needs rebuilding as well. We're in the best position of all top sides as it stands watching the last two months and the progress being made, regarding the future.
I think this loss won't effect our confidence at all, the boys know they were a "better" side yesterday (better can be argued because we lost). What's really important for me here is that almost the whole squad understands how van Gaal wants them to play and I can't see we're dropping our performances with the teams we'll face till the end. No one of them is capable of closing the shop in the manner Mourinho's Chelsea has done and that's our great chance to reach even 2nd spot, let alone 3rd. I'm confident in this because we have a gameplan that works, it worked against Chelsea too, it's just that we didn't take our chances.

I think we all knew that once they scored it's an uphill battle (if it wasn't before that) and best we could have hoped for was a draw. Maybe if we had a proper finisher we could have gotten it.

But Falcao has played. Not sure what you're suggesting, that we play someone who we don't have?
