Thought I'd set up the thread for these two on their own as there's very much speculation about both could leave in the summer and both United and City are in the race, according to @bumpergraham What do you guys think are the chances of both leaving and to which clubs? Would Cristiano put a blue shirt on and who would you like more of the two if one goes to United and another to City?

That guy talks more shit than Paul Merson. True but there's enough smoke at Madrid recently to speculate this way. I don't think both will leave the same summer but one of them looks like a certainty at the moment imo. Personally I think Bale will stay rather than Ronaldo and if this happens, could he go to City?

Think a little much is being made of all of it as usual.
Should either be available then I'm sure we'd be interested.

yeah if its possible, its pretty obvious we should get them
PSG want Di Maria, i am sure clubs would want Mata, both of them combined would get about 100 million (at least, both are world class)
then you have the likes of valencia and some older players/fringe players who aren't playing a part anymore who could be sold and get wages off the books so we can actually make bids without being screwed by FFP

I don't see both leaving but one is a possibility. Never say never...

The word never exists because the concept of never must exist. This is one of those moments because there is no way they'll be leaving within the next 2 years

1. Those assumptions will never be reality. 2. They would want more than 350 3. Real Madrid still has a say
Ronaldo might leave Madrid once his age starts catching up to him and even that is a tough call. Bale as at the top and earning great wages. He will only leave if Real Madrid no longer want him.
And yes, I poop at parties.

i think on point 2 we would pay more than 350 (for ronny at least, bale surely wouldn't ask for 350)
and ronny is 30, not exactly that young
