I wouldn't care about Nani's fee. Right now, I have to say I am getting a bit nervous as we haven't wrapped up a couple of those needed faces. I was hopeful we could have had the core of the team gel together in pre-season. Not too late, I know. But I hope we don't wait too long, because the start of the season is only in 1 month, and we have a hell of an important CL tie coming up.
I think the team is able to do well as it is, but it would be stupid to slip up at the start of the seaosn like we did last year because we weren't completely ready. Although the situation is, of course, very different this time.

I'm not worried just yet, none of the top clubs have made many moves with Depay still the most high profile signing.
I understand the calibre of players we will be after will take time as their clubs don't want to let them go etc. but the tour is around the corner and it would have been nice to see some more faces.
Wish we would just sign Schneiderlin, that one seems straight forward but we seem to be pissing about.

Wish we would just sign Schneiderlin, Yeah, I would feel better knowing we have him wrapped up and ready for the tour as he would improve the spine of the team, which is what we need imo. Getting a quality midfielder is vital for the start of the season. Even more with Fellaini banned lol.

Schneiderlin via alex_crook Koeman: 'I think every player has his price and we have experience as a club of selling players.' #saintsfc 'Last season we sold some players and if there is interest in Morgan then okay, but it has to be at the price that the club wants 'With a club like Man United we know it is difficult to keep the player but if they pay, okay, he can make the transfer' Pay up Woody.

Di Marzio says that Darmian is close to going to United and Torino have told them how much they want now it's up to United to cough up but talks went along positively between the two clubs it seems. Same kind of situation as Schneiderlin I guess, just gotta offer close to or what they want.

Don't know why people are getting there knickers in a twist over Henriquez he's hardly kicked a ball for us. Done well In Croatia but the PL is a different ball game, he seems happy and again good luck to him, it's a good move. I am not too pissed because he wasn't given an opportunity (Yeah I would have liked to see him how he does in the pre-season) but we have sold him for less than a million. Its not like he is earning some huge wages here, we cant sell a 21 year old and a guy scored 21 goals for less than million, thats a poor piece of business imo. We are getting robbed when we sell a player. And people say there was a option to buy him in his loan deal, so we cant really do much but I cannot understand why we have accepted such a low transfer fee in the loan deal.

Di Marzio and the other Italian ITKs/journo's, mainly from sky Italy seem to think we are close to Darmian as you say Charlie, guess we'll see.
And I agree if these are true and we're skimping over a measly £/€5m... I mean really.. this is the summer that needs to have solid investment for us to go to the next level, stop farting about and get LVG his players.

I think you've got to look at the type of players we are selling, they are either youth with no future here and little experience, youth that haven't fulfilled their potential or prime players past their best. You have to look at the individual contract situatuions too, plus all these players are actively put on the market and United want them moved on asap so we're unlikely to get top dollar. I think Kagawa and Welbeck are really the only two of decent quality that have good potential, 7m and 16m to be honest is a fair price and they've hardly set their new clubs alight. Fans just seem to pluck figures from their head but who is going to pay 10m+ for Nani, nobody, 15m for Hernandez with a year left, we've got no chance. Problem is that these players are on huge wages, the other top clubs have the same problems, City for example, Chelsea do well because they move on players fairly sharpish but look at the likes of De Bruyne now, doh. As for Henriquez as you say there seems to be an agreement in place already.

is darman that good to warrant 25 million? he plays for torino. I'm sorry but its torino, and its not like he's some 20 year old wonderkid, he's 25 so whilst he will grow sure, just not enough to warrant that price tag
i agree, wish the schniederlin deal was settled, let LVG handle transfers

They want €20m, what's that about £13m-15m, that is nothing to us and a fair price for him.
I haven't seen a great deal of him but what I have seen he's looked decent, played on the left mind but people who follow Serie A rate him highly and only say good things. For 15m it's worth the punt.

He plays on the right for Torino, the left for Italy and can also play in central defence. So he's incredibly versatile. He was also voted the best player for the Italian national side in 2014. I think he'd be a solid purchase for the price.

Judging by those stats, he is definitely worth that kind of money.

Darmian is definitely an upgrade from Valencia and Rafael at right back. For that reason alone he's worth a punt at ~€20m. The fact that he's versatile and can play anywhere along the back or in midfield makes it a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
