Well atm we are stacked with talented youth coming through the youth system, particularly up top, Mason Greenwood (17) is one who is currently breathing down Martial and Rashford's neck. You have to whittle down your own talent pool first before you start dipping into others. And at 23 RVN had got a Dutch record transfer fee behind him and was blowing teams out of the water and was obviously heading toward world class status. Welcome aboard btw.  |

Chilean newspaper El Mercurio reports today on the deal between Manchester United and Inter Milan for the transfer of Alexis Sanchez. They claim that the attacker is joining the Italian side on a one-year loan deal, with the Nerazzurri having an option go buy him for US$15m at the end of the season. It’s reported that the doccumentantion should be signed between today and tomorrow, and the clubs will be sharing Sanchez’ salary. Hope it's true even if it is only potentially for a year. If he does sign next season between him and lukaku they're going to blow inters wage structure out of the water. Don't think there's any players earning more than a 100k a week there. Maybe Icardi. Lukaku is already earning 3 times that and if Sanchez stays it'll be 4 or 5 times that. What unrest that's going to cause.
I personally think that's what caused our downfall last season. Players looking at Sanchez doing nothing and getting paid stupid wages (even if he did come on a free) Martial looked at it and said I want more and the club gave it to him (stupidly) then Rashford looked at Martial and said if he's earning that then I want more and the club gave it to him (stupidly) and heaven knows who else got a payrise because of all the unrest.
This is why I love the signings we've made. Maquire (supposedly) turning down a 100k more to play for Shity. And AWB and James are just so happy at being at the club they won't be causing problems the next few years. So glad Dybala didn't come or we'd just be going round in circles.

The deal hinges on us paying half his wages for the duration apparently, whether we want to. Plus I guess we are not exactly stacked with experienced options up front if we get injuries, there is a decision to be made there.
Personally I think if you don't get rid now you're stuck with him - we're already in a battle for 4th spot, the Glazers are convinced we are battling with Everton for a top 6 Europa spot. Get rid of the dead wood now ffs.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to loan Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan for the rest of the season. The 10-month deal does not include an option to buy, with United retaining control of the 30-year-old who still has almost three years left on his contract. Sanchez joined United from Arsenal in January 2018 in a deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan go in the opposite direction, but has so far failed to shine at Old Trafford.
