I was quite happy with the starting 11 even though Mata wasn't in it. Mickey deserved his chance, Zlatan and Martial after scoring a brace each in the last game deserved their chance, Carrick and Herrera have been playing really well and the only doubt I had was Pogba but how was Mou going to leave the worlds most expensive player on the bench? For some reason none of them shone today. It was back to the LVG days. Lethargic all over the pitch, with no game plan. Referee maybe didn't help but that's no excuse at all for todays performance. Mata is the one who links everything together and not to bring him on when 1-0 up was a big error on mous part since Everton were chasing the game and had to commit players forward but to sit back and bring on fucking wookie to try and see the game out was a disgraceful decision and Mou has to take full responsibility for the draw. The only slight positive is hopefully we'll never see Fellaini again. Never has been good enough and never will be. Still too early to be pulling the knives out on Mou and once he gets rid of players who aren't good enough or can't be fucked and brings in his own players then we should start to judge him but after his tactics and decisions today he has lost a lot of brownie points.
The more replays you watch the less clearer it becomes so I'm not going to fault the ref. Quite simply , if we were more ruthless then these decisions wouldn't become a major issue. With our dominance second half we should of had 2 or 3. Once again it was down to not finishing our chances.
What keeps me going is knowing that if we had Kun we'd be top of the league Let's face it. For all our good play we don't have a clinical enough forward to put teams to bed. Today was just another case of that. Rooneys touch in front of goal has deserted him, Ibra after a good enough start is now finding it tougher going, Rashford is still learning and Martial is bang out of form. All I can say is thank fook we have Mata. This is why I think we have to give Mou more time to bring in someone who will consistently knock goals in but until then I fear we will be seeing more of the same until this happens.
I thought the second half we pommeled them. We had wave after wave of attack until we scored in the 70th minute. We took our foot off the gas maybe for about 5 minutes after we scored but Arsenil didn't look dangerous and then we took it to them again. I don't think we sat back and the only thing missing once again was definition in attack. Rooney for Martial I don't think is negative tactics. Blind for Darmian made sense since he was on a yellow and facing the Ox. Maybe bringing on schneiderlin for Mata could be seen as negative but with 5 minutes to go it should of been enough to see the game out. Our bad luck will change, I've no doubt. Today's bad luck was having an exhausted Rashford up against a fresh Ox who produced a fantastic ball for Giroud who timed everything to perfection. The sort of move if you tried it on the training ground would probably come off once in every 10. Unlucky for us that that one in ten happened to be their only chance all game.
Absolutely gutted. Showed Arsenil just how average they are then got hit by a sucker punch right at the end. Couldn't fault our team today. Herrera and Mata were immense once again. The only Dissapointment for me was Martial who once again looked way off the pace. If he showed heart then he could be forgiven but even that looks lacking. That left wing looks like a poisoned chalice. Tactics spot on today. Team selection as well. It will come good. Maybe not this season but I still believe Mou is the right man for the job. Biggest knob of the day once again goes to Jamie Rednapp for slaughtering Rashford for the Arsenil goal. Wonder how he'd feel after 88 minutes after giving everything, he came up against a flying winger. Then again Rednapp wouldn't of been on the pitch after 88 minutes because he had the stamina of a fecking sloth.
That back 4 scares the shit out of me Dave but as there's not much we can do about it we just have to get on with it. If Pogba isn't out for at least a couple of weeks I'd be surprised. Get piggy in there. We've tried everything else. Mata for me has to play number 10 with Mickey out right and Rashford left and either one of Rooney/Ibra up front.
Thought the first half we were OK. Went behind to a worldie, fluke goal but we always seemed like we had it under control without really giving them anything to worry about. Second half was an embarrassment. Nothings changed since my last few assessments. Our back 4 are shite. I'll give Shaw the benefit of the doubt as he still doesn't look match fit. Darmian gets worse with every game. Same as Blind. Rojo has never been any good. Martial had a few good touches but it's no where near enough. Rooney huffing and puffing but not contributing anything until his goal. Pogba looked up for it but he always does until it's time to deliver. Ibra starting to look like he's happy enough sitting back and earning his mega wages. Rashford had a bad day at the office but that is more than to be expected. Schneiderlin struggled a little but how is he supposed to get match fit if he hardly ever plays? Same as Mickey. The only ones to come out of the game with credit are once again Mata and Herrera. Never stopped running and looking for the ball even when all their team mates looked like they couldn't give a fuck. Can't believe I had this squad down as potential league winners. The worst about for me is the talent is there but if they don't have heart and desire then it's game over.
Terrible first half tactics. How you can play Fellaini with his back to goal I'll never know. He's shit enough going forward. When Chelski had the ball Rashford and Lingard were almost full backs so it was nearly impossible to counter. I don't agree with Matt that the squad only needs tweaking. The only half decent consistent CB we have is Bailly who ironically I thought wouldn't make the grade. Smalling and Blind are accidents waiting to happen. They always make mistakes during games and normally it costs us. Rojo should never have been signed in the first place. For me Valencia has to be replaced by a proper RB. Another who loses his marker to often and even though he put in a few good balls today it's no where near enough. Martial is another who I'm starting to think won't make it at United. He has obvious talent and is still young but in too many games he looks like he couldn't give a fuck and his back tracking is almost non existent. He should take a leaf out of Rashfords book who even though he could be having an average game always gives 100%. The same as Lingard. I hope that today didn't show us at the level we're really at because if that's the case then we really are in trouble.
Decent last 20 minutes of the first half but other than that same old, same old. If Southgate persists with Rooney and Henderson then not much is going to change. Decent game from Lingard and Rashford didn't look out of place when he came on.
That was the team to take us forward. Great first 30-35 minutes then we stepped off the gas. Started the second slowly but still had chances to put them under pressure. Great goal from Martial and a rare mistake from De gea. I'd be more worried if we weren't creating anything but we are. Just have to be more clinical because on another day we could of knocked 4 past these. I've no doubt that in the end we'll come good.
Looks like she was settling into her WAG role perfectly. £5k tit job, collagen implants , Botox treatment and how saying how an ugly feck like lingard was the man of her dreams Selling her story just shows what sort of person she is. Sorry luv but your 15 minutes of fame are up.
I think I'm in the minority when I say I think we're a lot better than last season. Yes it's slow but our movement up front has improved a lot. Think it's only a matter of time before we click. What's clear to me is Fellaini can't keep partnering Pogba. He just isn't an intelligent enough footballer. Last night Zoyra should of been there for the taking but our play was laboured and that's down to our CM. Can't for the life of me think why he starts ahead of Carrick or Schneiderlin (who looks like his days are numbered which for me is a waste of talent) Hopefully we'll see Carrick, Herrera and Pogba against Stoke because if I see Rooney and Fellaini starting I'll be taking the knife out of Van Gones back and betting it sharpened.
edwood: that'll do , we seem good on the counter

Dave: Saints are no mugs but we're looking good, defended superbly and so dangerous on the counter. If Micky could fecking release the ball earlier we could be a couple more up.
