I'd love to see a fully committed pobga but I just don't think it's going to happen. 3 full seasons and other than a handful of great performances he's been average at best. He's always wanted Madrid so for me he can feck off and take his countryman with him. Another who only turns up when he wants. As Rach says. I'd take James any day of the week. Pogba and Martial are our 2 most gifted players but if they're not motivated then there's no point keeping them. The only problem now is if Pogba goes this summer or in the winter transfer window finding a replacement is going to cost us megabucks. We maybe could of got SMS for 90m but he'll go for a lot more now because Lazio will know we'll be desperate. That goes for any player we sign to replace Pogba. For one of the richest clubs in the world we're definitely one of the worst run of any top team in any division on the world stage. We'll never become a Leeds but the top brass seem to be doing everything in their power to make it happen. Luckily our club is bigger than any one entity and once the Glazers understand that then we'll be back on track or they'll be out the door without realising what's hit them.

On a side note. What's the point of crossing the ball so many times into the box when we don't have a number 9?

The more positive among us will we had a lot more of the ball, we missed a penalty, palace only had 2 chances, we didn't deserve to lose and while it may be true it's becoming a recurring event which makes it more than coincidence. Without wanting to make Pogba the brexit of our team (giving him the blame for everything) I'm convinced if Rashford had of took the penalty against Wolves we'd be 4 points better off. Todays penalty put a lot more pressure on him after the events the other day. It's still no excuse to lose at home to palace though but I feel for Ole. The club not signing experienced players when there were a few available has made his job almost impossible. We have zero creativity and that's including Pogba on the pitch the last few matches. I really want De Gea to sign his new deal but if he doesn't do it soon then he can feck off because he really does have his head in the clouds. Only one to come out of the game with any credit was once again James, even AWB was surprisingly exposed a few times today. Rashford did try but he doesn't have a footballing brain needed to make the most of his other attributes. Said it more than once but Lindelof doesn't look at all comfortable playing RCB. Now reaching the stage with him where I'd almost prefer to see Smalling play there. Least said about Martial and Lingard the better.

Lingard must be a beast in training because whoever the manager he seems to be almost first choice come match day. Much rather give Fred a chance and letting Pogba be more creative playing a little more advanced. Fred is prone to the odd brain fart but how is he supposed to get used to the PL if he hardly ever plays bar injuries to other players. Watch Lingard score his one a season screamer today

Would of liked to have seen Garner, I think he's more ready than Chong or Gomes. Pogba, McT, Garner would be well worth a shout. Watched Palace the other day and they were shite. Hardly any attacking threat. Its these sort of games were Ole can afford to mix it up a bit, especially with now having a much stronger back 4.

Different type of player than Pereira but I agree. James is far from the finished article but he's impressed in the games he's played in. His speed gives other teams something to think about which could leave other players with a bit more space. I see you've mastered posting videos quicker than me but there's no need to post the same video on 2 different threads.

Think he raises his flag only if he's sure it's offside which makes sense because if not each game would last 2 hours waiting for VAR. Just had a look at the offside rule. Didn't know a player can't be offside directly from a goal kick. Not sure about VAR myself. We already have goal line technology which I agree with because it doesn't stop the game the way VAR does. I think most managers agree that decisions even themselves out over the course of a season. 1mm offside is taking things too far. If there's an obvious error then yes play should be stopped and a free kick given. I don't like this if the ball hits the arm of an attacking player and a goal is scored (shity v Spuds) a free kick is given rule but if a ball hits a defenders arm accidentally it's not a penalty. Has to be the same for both sides. Too many rules spoiling the enjoyment of football.

Funny old game. Nobody played really bad but nobody played really well. First half was ours by a country mile. The difference with our team now is speed. A lot of teams are going to drop back 10 yards to try and combat it. Which is what wolves did in the first half and it made it comfortable for us. Second half they can flying out of the blocks especially with Traore and we found it difficult to get into the game. Lack of creativity was there for all to see and that's not going to change until we actually sign another creative player. Absolutely love watching AWB play. Such a quiet player but no one gets past him. Hope James stops his falling over lark, other than that thought he had a good game. Don't like Lindelof at all playing RCB. Looked a bundle of nerves. Should keep Martial as the number 9 that way the lazy feck doesn't have to run as much. Wish Rashford would stop with those free kicks of his. How many has he actually scored? Not a bad set up from Ole but needs to do a lot better with his subs. Left it well to late for the subs to make an impact. All in all not a bad performance. Should of had the 3 points with the penalty but pogba deciding he needed a new house with his bonus for scoring instead of leaving it to rashford.

Very happy that he's not got Matic as a sure starter. Seems strange not to see 3 out and out central midfielders playing. Maybe would of preferred Fred instead of Lingard giving Pogba more of a licence to roam. Could be over run if we don't play as a unit. Maybe Ole is chancing his luck a little. This is a very good Wolves side and we're away from home. If it was crystal palace at home I wouldn't have a problem with it. Good to see positivity though.

Hope it's true even if it is only potentially for a year. If he does sign next season between him and lukaku they're going to blow inters wage structure out of the water. Don't think there's any players earning more than a 100k a week there. Maybe Icardi. Lukaku is already earning 3 times that and if Sanchez stays it'll be 4 or 5 times that. What unrest that's going to cause. I personally think that's what caused our downfall last season. Players looking at Sanchez doing nothing and getting paid stupid wages (even if he did come on a free) Martial looked at it and said I want more and the club gave it to him (stupidly) then Rashford looked at Martial and said if he's earning that then I want more and the club gave it to him (stupidly) and heaven knows who else got a payrise because of all the unrest. This is why I love the signings we've made. Maquire (supposedly) turning down a 100k more to play for Shity. And AWB and James are just so happy at being at the club they won't be causing problems the next few years. So glad Dybala didn't come or we'd just be going round in circles.

Every time I see Lingard he just pisses me off more and more. What's this with the model pose FFS? You're a footballer not a feckin model you plum.

The strange thing about Sanchez is even up to the last month of last season you could see he was still trying even though the end result wasn't there. Now it looks like he's finally realised he isn't the player he was and never will be again. So instead of making himself look bad playing football he's taken the cowards approach and would prefer to sit on the bench each week and earn his mega paycheck. For an outsider looking in it's despicable what he's doing but if I was him, knowing I don't have too long left in the game to earn mega wages I'd probably do the same thing. 70m is a fair chunk of change that he wouldn't get anywhere else unless the Chinese go in for him.
