We've been offered Emil Forsberg apparently from Leipzig for only 17 million.
Also they're reporting that both Lingard and Pereira will be out in the summer with Forsberg joining Grealish as their replacements in the squad.

Eh i can live with it. He'll do a job i guess and its at least a striker (would have preferred Jose on a loan but what can you do). I'd say Ighalo on loan is better than trying to buy Josh King.
At least with Ighalo, if he can get a goal every 2-3 games, with the output we'll get from Martial and now Bruno Fernandes hopefully, we should be at least good enough for 4th.
In the summer though, they better go out and spend some real money (Sancho, Werner and Koulibaly should be the bare minimum for business in the summer)

Apparently if the skysports transfer centre is to be believed, we've been offered Willian Jose on loan from Real Sociedad.
Honestly if that's true, i'd take that in a heartbeat. We would not be able to find that kind of quality on loan anywhere else, he's still only 28 and has scored 8 goals in la liga this season. Especially since we've now missed out on Piatek (i know he was more rumoured to Tottenham though) as he's going to Hertha Berlin.
Also Sky are saying that Atletico are out of the race for Cavani, as PSG wanted 25 mill (Atleti only willing to pay 15 mill). I think Jose on loan is more practical, but i wouldn't be against a cheeky 20 mill bid for Cavani having him here until Rashford is a bit more developed in the number 9 role (cause he has no business playing wing, i'm sorry, Rashford should be our next #9 if we're not bringing in a striker). Even cheaper though is Dries Mertens who apparently could cost 5 mill (that's a steal to be honest, even given that we could get him for free in the summer).
Sheffield United got Sander Berge, bit irritated with that, we should have gone in for him tbh (only cost 22 mill which is a bit of a bargain for someone with that kind of potential)

Also hearing 6 signings for the summer, or at least 6 signings that Ole wants (5 now since Bruno is confirmed i guess).
He wants a winger, a fullback, 3 mids (6, 8 and 10) and a striker
My Choices would be as follows:
Winger: Choice A: Jadon Sancho (120 Million) - We were absolute fools not to buy him in the summer the way he's been playing, but luckily the player still wants to come to United so i think we're still his first choice (which is a minor miracle given what a joke we've been this season). Choice B: Hakim Ziyech (???) - a compltely different type of winger, would not be of the scoring variety at all but a good player all the same on our right flank
Fullback: Choice A: Grimaldo (50-60 Million) - well we're not buying another Right back i'd imagine, so left back is the choice and Grimaldo is probably the best achievable Left back we can buy, Shaw has proven himself rather useless for us this season to the point where Brandon Williams is about to overtake him in the starting lineup. Choice B: Ben Chilwell (50-60 Million) - Honestly i think he's not bad but probably not as good as Grimaldo, still, would be fairly achievable and could work out a swap deal with Shaw involved going the other way i'd imagine.
CM: Choice A: Saul Niguez (80-85 Million) - How could you not honestly if the rumoured price is true. Choice B: Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (60-65 Million) - Great player as well honestly, if we could get both i'd say we should get both.
AM: Choice A: Jack Grealish (30-35 Million) - As much as i'd like to say go out and get Kai Havertz, Grealish at 30-35 mill is a damn good. Hell, offer them Pereira, he's about Championship quality anyway Choice B: James Maddison (55-60 Million) - Would cost far more, he's probably as good if not better, but Grealish fits our system more.
Striker: Choice A: Timo Werner (100 Million) - Don't play games, we should have signed him in the summer window, we should have signed him in january and if we don't sign him in the next summer window then idk really Choice B: Moussa Dembele (40 Million) - I'm not certain of this, i think he could just as easily as flop to be honest. You also know Lyon will just sign Ousanne Eddard from Celtic after this as well.
Sales: Alexis Sanchez (no point keeping him), Marcus Rojo (make it permanent), Phil Jones, Chris Smalling (i'd cash out on him now, as great as he can be and i rate his leadership skills, he will not be happy being our 5th choice CB), Luke Shaw (not good enough to be honest, is about to be displaced by a youth prospect whose come out of nowhere), Nemanja Matic (Inter or Tottenham most likely will take him, we can get 25-30 mill still i'd say, though letting him go on a free isn't too bad i guess), Andreas Pereira (Bad doesn't to begin to describe his play this season), Paul Pogba (this is a given, though i'd honestly give PSG a call depending on how adamant Mbappe is on leaving, cause Sancho on one side and Mbappe on the other is damn tempting, i'd give up Pogba + Martial for Mbappe in truth).
On top of that list, i'd look at adding Max Aarons or if you can convince him, Thomas Meunier (with the idea that he initially starts and goes into a backup role in about a year) on a free at right back for a bit of competition.

Even better, Rojo can be sold.
Apparently Chelsea is after Dries Mertens, he is expiring, i mean we could do worse than bringing him in as a false 9 for the time being.

I won't believe it till i see it cause deadwood is genuinly incompetent from an on pitch aspect (seriously, get a proper sporting negotiator and not an investment banker, this is coming from someone with a finance background, the on pitch and off pitch stuff is a completely different kettle of fish).
On the deal, it would be 55 million euros as an intial, 10 million extra for what is being called 'easily achievable targets' (whatever that is, given the incompetence of this club as of late, nothing comes easy other than losing) and an additional 15 mill for far fetched stuff like winning the balon d'or (if he becomes that type of player, who cares then that we pay an extra 15 mill). Overall, 65 mill for a good attacking mid i can live with.
We're still lacking a striker and the idea that Greenwood is going to be our main striker is frightening, we should be making a deadline day deal for Werner even if it costs us 100 mill (cause we have that kind of money), the only reason we shouldn't is if we're somehow in for Neymar (pls no) or Mbappe in the summer and we literally need to save the money. Oh and the moves for Slimani and Ighalo is nonsense as well, Igahlo maybe i could see but Slimani is a bs move. I could deal with maybe Cavani coming in now for the time being so you can give Rashford more time to grow (it would buy us about 18 months which is probably enough).
edit: we're planning a summer move for Jack Grealish (fair enough, given Villa are probably going down and he's absolute class, also if we miss out on top 4, at least Pochettino actually likes him).

Someone please buy this club from the glazers before they send us the way of Leeds. Woodward should be the first one getting the sack to be honest.

Why? what the hell is the point of buying a 16 year old for that money when we're this crap right now. Don't think we have the luxury of buying 16 year old prospects when we're currently an incredibly crap team (by united standards at least).

Who on earth could we get on loan then? I mean Cavani on a free doesn't help us now and paying a fee for him makes little sense unless we can sell him on this time next year.
Also Leipzig want 80 mill which is basically the same price as Lautaro Martinez which is pretty crazy given he's scoring a goal per game in the bundesliga.
Missing out on Haarland is a disaster but surely these idiots must have had a backup plan.
Not to mention, everything on the DM front has gone quiet, before the window we were being linked with Declan Rice, The defensive mid from Lille and a bunch of other players.

Apparently we're going in for a striker.
I'll scream it from the rooftops, Timo Werner
Seriously, what is with this club and just being downright cheap, we've made how much off sales yet we've bought no one despite most of the team belonging at a mid table club or worse.

He's been fairly good, could still do with another CB to help him (as Lindelof is good, but probably a #3 as it currently stands).

Pressure is on now i think for Woodward to deliver on some non shitty signings.
We better get them in ASAP or you'd have to think he's gone.

Well then, maybe shouldn't have talked so much shite about him......
Fernandes deal has apparently stalled over fees, which is a shock since i thought it was agreed. Anyway hopefully he's not our only signing and we're after a striker as well and a CB and Left back.

Well we should have more than enough money given whose gone out and the fees we've collected on the likes of Lukaku and co.
