www.express.co.uk/sport/football/579878/Manchester-United-Chelsea-Louis-Van-Gaal-Jose-Mourinho-Premier-League-TitleHe told MUTV: "The board of Manchester United shall say now we have to battle for the championship. It's a fantastic challenge but that's also dependable on how we can purchase very good players and how we can improve our balance in our selection. "When you see last Sunday against Arsenal what I have to do to change, I have to put players on other positions that I never play and that's a pity because the balance in our play was not good. We need two players in every position and then they can perform more easily.

Van Gaal: I'll give young players a tour chance
Louis van Gaal has revealed to ManUtd.com that he plans to take a number of young Manchester United players on Tour 2015, presented by Aon.
The close-season trip to the United States will enable several fresh faces to promote their claims for a place in the 2015/16 first-team squad with four July matches against Club America, San Jose Earthquakes, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain scheduled in the International Champions Cup.
Tyler Blackett and Jesse Lingard were handed competitive debuts when starting the opening game of the 2014/15 campaign against Swansea City after going on last year's tour with defender Blackett making 12 Barclays Premier League appearances in total.
"I shall take a lot of youngsters with us to the USA," declared van Gaal. "They have the chance to show themselves and then we shall wait and observe how they can develop. You get your chances always, especially in pre-season and, when you grab that chance, you have maybe the possibility to join us next season."
The fact Warren Joyce's side won the Barclays Under-21 Premier League title last term suggests there is talent within the club's ranks and van Gaal has stressed a clear route for promotion into his team must be a priority.
"A championship for the second team is fantastic," explained the boss. "But I think one player every year in the first-team as a line-up player is much more important."
That last point makes me wonder whether he'll stick with McNair and turn him into a RB, we shall see.

Memphis didn't really seem interested, as long as he is on the pitch though it's all good.

I just think he seems pretty cool and relaxed. I have no issues with a player not being too keen on speaking to the media though, as you say as long as his footwork speaks on the pitch I'll be happy. Also they were asking some boring, pointless questions. Especially the one comparing him to Ronaldo.

Bottom line is if they're available and they're the right quality we'll buy 'em. If not, we won't, I can't see any ambiguity or confusion there.

I can't help but think he's talking about Moyes when he says "He [Van Gaal] is very hands on. You don't want someone who can't make decisions, who doesn't have that experience, but he does that in spades. It's fantastic."
