Pereira's a big talent, just goes missing in some games though. See him as a younger version of Nani, plenty of ability but lacks consistency, hopefully as he gets older he adds consistency to his game.

Yea, that's almost always a problem with young lads with a bags of talent. They need to polish and utilize all their skills in the best possible way. The coaches who works with them are vital for this as well. Consistency comes with age and maturity but not necessarily, if their mindset is not up to it they can say goodbye to a top level football. Many talents didn't fulfill their potentials due to this.

Yeah he appears to be that kind of kid though, doesn't seem to be trying half as much as some of the guys in some games then in others he's head and shoulders above every other player on the pitch, hope he develops more mentally.

No, he's not as tricky as Januzaj was at that level, he's got a better strike though, lethal from set pieces and when he's on form is good in the final 3rd at finding that final ball or scoring a quality goal.

Watched only the second half on a shitty stream but Pereira was the stand-out player for me. Awful debut for Valdes, he might as well go take selfies with the fans - there was next to nothing for him to do

Janko is a little too big to be sitting next to Lingard. Jesse looks like he's 12.

Yeah Janko is a beast, to be honest I've been disappointed with him, when I saw his physique for such a young fella I was hoping he'd be more impressive than he has been so far.

Last season I thought he's one step to making it into the first team, and even in the beginning of this season with the 352 formation...he hasn't progressed as much as I hoped but there's still plenty of time - his pace and strength suit the PL

U21's at home to Fulham tonight - J.Pereira; Rafael, Thorpe, Blackett, James; Harrop, A.Pereira, Powell, Weir, Janko; A.Fletcher
No Lingard, hopefully this means he's involved tomorrow.

Powell puts us 1-0 up, poor defending and an easy finish into the bottom right hand corner.

Yeah I watched the game last night, Pereira really is a brilliant set piece taker.
