He definitely looks leaner than I've ever seen him before. Thought he showed huge talent at Crewe and when we first signed him I thought he'd be a quality number 10 in the future but as he's got older, he's got bigger and now looks stronger. He's always had a superb strike on him as well.
I don't really see an issue with him being part of the squad. Not like we're brimming with world class options at the moment.

U21's won 3-1 against Spurs Monday night. Pereira with 2 goals and Keane with the other. Ben Pearson is back from his loan at Barnsley as well and played vs Spurs. Think he'll be sold on this month if he isn't going to feature in the manager's plans. Shame as I think he has something to offer. As good as our midfield is compared to recent years a bit of youth wouldn't go amiss.

Ooooh what a moment of magic from Pereira. Playing keepy ups on the edge of the area, dinks it over a defender and unleashes a volley that the keeper manages to tip over the bar. Superb skill.

4-0, Januzaj with a calm finish from inside the area. Just before that there was a case of awful refereeing against Southampton, blew the whistle for a foul when the Southampton player had carried on and set up his teammate for a tap in. Disallowed goal. That's why you're reffing the u21's mate.
