FIFA can get fucked, then again we know sepp blatter is a corrupt cunt. honestly why can't they just sniper him and platini and all the other corrupt fucks.
Anyway we should just withdraw from this match, fuck it, we'll get through as 2nd place anyway so long as we win the rest of the matches (though this is why we should have won against Jordan, that was just shit by us). Going in for the three points isn't worth the players lives, and you know if it is ISIS they will target both national teams

JDT has won the AFC cup. They defeated some team from tajikstan 1-0 I think in the final. The first for a Malaysian club side. Something to be proud of at last.

Something to be proud of at last. thats great, congrats to JDT, they're really trying hard to be a powerhouse, the pedigree of international players is strong and they overall have a very strong squad just looking at it (though they never managed to pull that marquee name, it doesn't really matter if you are winning games) Doesn't it also mean they qualify for the Champions League next season or at least the qualifying rounds

Fox Sports have lost the rights to the Premier League in Australia to Optus (telecom company over here), yep, Murdoch is in trouble alright, though this may have severe ramifications for the a-league also, especially if they lose subscribers (almost certain since the idiots don't have the rights for la liga, bundesliga or any other major european league, thanks Bein), could see fox going away from any form of football, which would be basically death for the a-league as we know it (it would have to downsize, without fox we would be screwed, literally it would take a free to air to commit to all games to make it any better).
Going to be annoying though to watch the premier league from now on. Though my fox subscription for sport is probably gone, all the sports they show are on free to air anyway (AFL, NRL, Formula 1, basketball etc)

Just like if you win the Europa league, you qualify automatically to the Champions league. Sadly that's not the case in the AFC cup. you just qualify automatically for the same tournament again. There's just an additional spot for a Malaysia club side for this tournament because JDT are the defending champions.

Gold Coast City huh, well it failed miserably the first time, for the second they better not play out of Robina, the stadium is way too far away from anything on the coast (honestly it is, not near a tram line or any proper public transport)
they need to build a stadium closer to the coastline or somewhere just close to the Gold Coast in general (i would say somewhere a bit in, but closeish to the coastline, like palm beach or burleigh would be good)
also
Melbourne City 4-2 Adelaide United
Adelaide remain winless and honestly, are going to win the spoon if they don't improve, biggest regression of any team, they're horrid. City also aren't that great, its just Adelaide where worse
Sydney FC 0-0 Brisbane Roar
Horrible game, was just boring, Sydney shut up shop and this made it boring. Sydney remain top and Roar in 2nd, not too bad

FFA Cup final
Melbourne Victory 2-0 Perth Glory
Glory didn't show up, they're going to be a joke until sage is gone really, Victory played decent but didn't really do much in the second half, they didn't have to really. They're obviously quality, mind you mid week in the ACL they might be in trouble given they played a full strength squad (obviously, cup final and all).
As for the Glory, yeah they're done, they literally give their fans no reason to support them, shit owner, players who don't really care or want to play for the badge, no heart, no passion, ugly football, below par manager. Honestly i feel sorry for them, they are probably the only original club who haven't won the a-league at all, that is, no premiership or championship.
Crowd: 15,098 (wow, just wow, that is the worst victory crowd in years, 15k, that is horrid, its a freaking cup final, they get like 24k for every other game, even the phoenix, FFA did raise the prices to ridiculous prices, but yeah they may as hell have had this in perth, this is why the glory feel screwed and we have the #westvsrest thing, i expect the fucktheffa banner to be out next home game also)

Bangladesh 0-4 Australia dominated the first as we should, Cahill with a first half hatrick (being the god that he is) Mooy is so pivotal to us at the moment, he was the creative link for all of this But that second half....... that was a disgrace, Troisi shouldn't be selected until he leaves Saudi Arabia, he was fucking useless, Oar was also ineffective and he needs to sort himself out (if you are not getting playing time in the championship, he may as well come home in all honesty and rebuild his career). Jason Davidson deserves to lose his starting spot to James Meredith because Meredith actually looks decent, something he hasn't looked for since about the asian cup, simply put he needs to get his shit together. Mile looked like he was struggling for fitness (Pardew is a pleb, i'm sorry Jedinak>McAurther any day of the week) We need to play a narrower 4-3-3, Luongo out wide is not what you want, thinking Jedinak as a DM and Mooy and Luongo in front of him as CM/CAM's with Mooy the more advanced playmaker. Only issue is, without Robbie Kruse and Matthew Leckie, we will be so screwed in terms of wingers Ange probably needs to look at more A-League based players (Risdon at RB is solid, given our weakness at both full back positions, he is a good choice and should honestly be the obvious first choice going forward given Franjic's injuries and Elrich just being pretty bad in general domestically this season, though no one at adelaide is playing well). Gersbach might be worth a look as well as Jamie McClaren or even Borello if he keeps on banging in the goals, we need more striking options and Jamie Mac is the type of striker Ange loves (will work hard on and off the ball and has been pretty lethal in front of goal, basically what Berisha was doing for us before he left for the victory). He does need to change it up, selection is getting stale Ange himself didn't sound all that happy post match, Cahill claiming to be the elder statesman is brilliant He's talking so much shit, saying the Chinese Super League has done wonders (Shanghai Shenua ain't happy with him for playing 90 before the CL though, i get that). He wasn't happy either with the second half and mainly the service he was getting (it was crap)

In other news Frank Lowy has stepped down as chairman of Football Federation Australia and his son has been appointed, not sure what to make of it (with obvious claims of nepotism, though he claims he got it on merit, not sure about that) but he has interviewed well enough (stating he wants a consultative board and is going to be consultative)
Also a new plan is coming out for the future of football (they're working on the 2015-2019 one now, so maybe they're extending that)
Also given the TV rights is coming up its going to be interesting, does the A-league stay with Murdoch and Foxtel, or does it move over to Optus along with the Premier League, also which Free to Air provider will we sign with, for how much and how many games per week as well as if its the main channel or not
(my pick for FTA would be 10, 7 has the AFL, 9 the NRL, 10 is the 3rd largest network in the country and doesn't really have a major sporting competition apart from the big bash league, which is a bit of a mickey mouse comp of retired cricket players basically and lasts only 8 weeks, its essentially the Indian Super League of cricket, so an actual league would be great for that, additionally i could see them actually putting on great coverage for the sports and having a lot, if not most games on free to air in some form (whether that is on ten itself, one hd or ten on demand)
Then the issues of expansion as well as the phoenix and what to do with them (to be fair if i was chairman/Steven Lowy i would basically tell New Zealand Football, leave Oceania for Asia and not only do you keep the nix, but we'll set up Auckland City in the A-league and have them play out of Eden Park or something along those lines, obviously would need to organise funding but in a city of that size it really wouldn't be that hard to find someone to fund that). Not only that future expansion teams such as that whole Sutherland and Illawara team (it will not work, Sydney is very tribal, no one from Cronulla/Sutherland is going to support a team that is in St George/Kograh and its the same for Wollongong/Illawara, plus it is something that is deeply unpopular amongst most football fans here, and it doesn't make any sense)
My picks for expansion, outside that Auckland City team if they get in, would have to be Canberra (nations capital, has nothing really going on in summer plus is a footballing hub, stadium ready to go also, has a w-league team, this will be the easiest to set up really) and Wollongong as itself (Illawara has 400k people, plus the Wollongong Wolves are one of the clubs in australia with the largest history, would have natural rivalries set to go with Perth given their history in the old NSL as well as Sydney and even Newcastle due to proximity and the nature of the cities respectively, wouldn't be unrealistic to expect about 9-10k members a season, which honestly for a regional club is perfectly acceptable and quiet good, the region actually has a footballing history unlike the rugby league dominated central coast and even they get around 7-9k consistently nowadays)

Japan 2-0 Cambodia
obviously a good result but not that great of a performance, winning only 2-0 against a team that hasn't picked up a point ain't a good sign, Japan seems to be having serious issues now. I thought the quarter final exit to the UAE was just a fluke loss, it seems to be more serious
Also they are 2nd in the group behind Syria (of all teams) with Singapore on 10 points at the moment in third (congrats to them), Japan with 13 out of 5 games (they did draw that game against Singapore) but for the most part haven't been up to it.

Eiji Kawashima is also about to sign for Dundee United...........
seriously, just go back to the J-League. why the hell would you want to play for Dundee United, the J-League is a higher standard by far now
He would make any squad there basically, hell he could make most championship squads, Bournemouth could use him now given Federici is out (he's better than Federici and this is coming from an Aussie) he is probably the 2nd best keeper in asia so this is just bizarre really
