Martunis (a survivor of the 2004 tsunami) of Indonesia has signed with Sporting Lisbon
Hopefully it leads to more young indonesian players being developed in europe (they have raw potential for sure and the work ethic, i think they would be the best team in Asia if they can become a good feeder nation to the big countries and send their young talent to europe and south america)

Brisbane Roar have shown signs of life and have actually signed a player
Signing Olyroo Jamie McClaren after he was released from Perth (because there is no such thing as interclub transfers in the a-league)
i love this deal for us, Instant replacement for Kaulerovic and will do more for us, being an active player, also relatively prolific

Melbourne City have signed Bruno Fornaroli on a free, he last played for danbuio in Uruguay and has played in Italy Previously for Sampdoria
they better hope he adjusts well and plays nicely, then again his manager is JVS so i expect he won't

praise the lord our nightmare is done (for now) local owners hopefully get us running competently at least
hope we can get our new LB, get our youth on proper contracts, actually start playing youth games again, not sure about contracts but wonder if we can get out of our deal with Aloisi and bring in Tribuletx. Anything would be better than Aloisi

got a few pieces of news:
Arsenal 4-0 Singapore XI
may as well have sent out the Lions XII, would have done better, the keeper is great though, i hope he gets that J-League move, Albreix Niigata seems like the most likely move, due to their singaporean satellite, and their current keeper is 34, only issue is that Fitzgerald is their current +1 player (he's kiwi so not sure how that works) but they have a CB on loan from Sao Paolo so they could either get rid of Fitzgerald or cancel the loan to bring him in, either way it would be a great for Singapore if they can get a player playing regularly in the J-League (hopefully he can avoid military service because that will fuck things up badly, lets face it the military side simply isn't going to be better than the J-League). That aside, the foreigners were crap for Singapore, usually its the local lads who suck but they where actually really good, particuarly Madhu who i thought defended admirably.
In other news Tomi Juric's move to Legia Warsaw has broken down, simply put he needs to just shut up and come back to the a-league for a season, honestly he should be moving to belgium right now, he needs to sack his agent, but would take him at the roar and would give him the aussie marquee spot, move mackay under the cap because we could do it, Sydney could very well make him their Aussie marquee given they just lost Janko and Juric has a pretty similar playing style to him, in terms of development you couldn't go wrong, only thing is that he would be moving to his cross town rival, then theirs the victory who have an aussie marquee spot available also (but they have Berisha already)
Matthew Spiranovic has moved to Hangzhou Greentown, he already has made a stupid move to qatar and now china, if he was going to leave, it should have been for europe, he could easily have slotted in at a lower end bundesliga club or a bundi 2 club, Ange won't be happy with this move for sure, in all honestly the CSL is much worse than the a-league if you aren't playing for Evergrande or other top teams such as shenhua or Beijing. Only good thing for him is he's getting 2 million a season (lets be honest, this is the only reason he went), he may as well retire from internationals for the next 4 years (provided he actually stays that long) because i don't see him being selected, should fire his agent also.
Robinho has signed for Evergrande though, thats a big move, makes sense for both player and club, he is high profile and is coming for 6 months so he could revitalise his chances, must be said though, Evergrande change their foreign players every 6 months.
meanwhile Jason Hoffman has signed for Newcastle, i'm sorry why is any team signing this guy, he shouldn't be near an a-league club, there are at least 50-100 players better than him in the NPL now (thats only a rough estimate, could actually be more)
Oliver Bozanic has reportedly left FC Luzern, i expect him to be back in the a-league, same with James Holland who has left Austria Vienna (Holland seems like the logical choice to replace Milligan)
Sydney FC have replaced Milos Dimitrejavic (who honestly could get marquee wages from someone) with former serbian international Milos Ninkovic, who was a star for Serbia in the 2010 world cup, last year playing for Evian. Its a good replacement in all honesty, and under the cap.

on Spiranovic, with him going to China, now maybe the time to bring in Aleksander Jovanovic to the national team fold, he plays for Jeju in korea (so of a higher standard than the a-league at least) and Jeju are one of the best teams, also Tomi Mrcela should be getting more call ups
with Juric, if he can get a move to Croatia (i.e. Dinamo or Hadjuk Split) that would be a decent move, given its not too shabby of a league and either of the big teams are likely for either the Champions League or at least the europa league

HT Brisbane Roar 1-1 Liverpool ended 2-1 but brisbane played really well. What position were they in last season? If I remembered correctly, was it 2nd last or last. No way that standard could be that low in the A-league. On another note, Liverpool have found another gem in Jordan ibe. Who needs raheem sterling?

Who needs raheem sterling? yeah, freaking hell bit dissapointed, thought we may actually get a draw because we were really going for it, mind you Liverpool could have hammered us we finished 7th/10 our manager was beyond crap though last season, we have done a bit of an overhaul, a lot of what you saw was our youth, we are looking more like a top 4 team but i would put Adelaide, Sydney and the Melbourne Victory ahead of us (all 3 of those are class) Ibe destroyed us, i am glad the a-league doesn't have players with that ridiculous pace, i think most teams will struggle to contain him, he's going to be a future star, he's also stronger than sterling it seems, hopefully he has a better head on him also

Mat Ryan to Valencia has been confirmed pending a medical
he is moving for a reported fee of 7 million euros
I really hope he is moving for starting football, he better be because Langerak is going to be stuck on the bench, if he becomes the starter he could very well start winning asian footballer of the year soon

So the Malaysian football farce continues...This time it involves the Liverpool vs Malaysian XI select match. Most of the super league teams that are fighting for the title..I.e JDT, Pahang and Selangor are not releasing their players for the match. A lot of players from other sides in the super league that have been picked for this match have also been advised by their club to stay away from the centralized training.?! ...
so we are going to have an epl team playing against a semi pro team then? What's the freakin point? Also it's detrimental to our Malaysian squad as we are not able to focus on the W cup Q tournament. I hope the turn out will be poor. Smart fans will stay away from this match that has 0 benefit to football in this country. Poor planning and coordination by FAM again. Are they that stupid inviting Liverpool to play at a time when the season is reaching its critical stage? Bonkers.
