Japan 0-0 Singapore.
Let that sink in for a minute. Singapore actually managed to hold the four-time Asian Champions to a draw at their home turf.
Bloody amazing! Get in there!!

Great. Malaysia drew with minnows Timor Leste last week and today they were trailing Palestine 3-0 at home at half time. I didn't bother to continue watching. Pathetic performance as expected. If those performances weren't a wake up call for FAM, i don't really know what is..
stability and going in the right direction my foot! Those were the words of the FAM secretary general. sucking money from the people and pumping money into the association without getting any good results. That's what pisses most of us fans over here.

Krygystan 1-2 Australia
not too happy with the performance but the result is ok, Krygystan's only goal was via a hand of god type of goal but they played pretty damn well. They actually looked like a half decent squad for Asia. Pitch was terrible also, reminded me of the Newcastle pitch or suncorp pitch. Need to change up our squad, i would drop Behich, clearly not good enough yet for international football, would rather take the chance on Brad Smith for the national team. As for the Kryg's, they filled their stadium, their team played well, they have nothing to be ashamed of (the refs on the other hand...... AFC refs, have mercy)
Iraq drew with Turkministan so that puts it into perspective how tough these away trips can be

6-0?!?? To Palestine??? I'm not even going to mock you Eric, that's just pathetic and I really feel sorry for you. Singapore have certainly frustrated me before with their ineptitude before, but never to this extent.
And I know this is late, but condolences to that T-Team Captain. It's never nice to lose your life while playing football.

That's a decent result for Australia, of course you guys were expected to win but it's a positive start. Jordan are the only legitimate threat to you, so finishing top of the group should be relatively easy.
Despite the result we achieved at Saitama, I'm very certain we have no chance of finishing top. Hopefully we can sneak into the third round of WC qualification by being one of the better second placed teams, which is possible if we beat Syria. They're a tough opponent but beating them is not out of our reach, although it will be hard. We should have no problem dealing with Afghanistan and Cambodia, I'd be worried if we did.

ok, WSW, considering how woeful their recruiting has been, need Cahill. they've let go of their best players and replaced them with garbage (Redmayne)
in all honesty, i could see him going to sydney now that they don't have a big name marquee, this time they better give him what he wants (1.5 mill or above that, and involved in youth in someway)
I do think we will see him back in the a-league though (City may get involved since there could be a chance Kennedy gets cut) so Melbourne City and both Sydney Clubs seem the most likely as the others either have no money (Roar, Jets, Mariners, Adelaide) or already got talent there (Victory, Phoenix), and then we got Perth, who are coming off a scandal and are losing their best players
realistically it can only be those three clubs

Scott Miller (former Fulham Assistant manager) has been appointed the manager of the newcastle Jets, he is only 33 and returns home after serving under hodgson, old mate Rene, Martin Jol and Felix Magath (amongst other managers)
Seriously, the jets get this guy and we land up with Aloisi, the guy who went 18 games without a win in the a-league. Ange, why do you hate us.
Anyway great appointment by the Jets, they seem to be reverting their colors back to gold also (good, it is there colors anyway, not those shitty HSG group/Knights colors)

Corey Gamiero has signed for Melbourne City on a 3 year deal. Great young signing for City, big loss for Sydney FC (who have now lost their #1 and #2 striker)

Craig Moore is the Brisbane Roar's new operations manager.
yep. we're so screwed, this is the worst bloke they could have gotten
next thing you know charlie miller is going to be our fitness coach
add to that the players have not been paid for the whole of june, FFA should step in and strip the license, let them run it, because the Roar have gone from the best to a shambles real quickly.
I swear nothing good has come from Indonesia in regards to football, they really haven't produced anything positive in the last 20 years apart from some of the talent in europe. The Indonesian owners are terrible, Indonesian football in general is some of the worst in Asia despite its popularity and the FA is the worst in asia by far
