Guangzhou Evergrande have replaced Fabio Cannavaro with Luis Felipe Scolari. despite the fact that Cannavaro had them first (on goal difference though). Mind you he wasn't doing great (in terms of CL) but its not that bad at all either. Should have given him more time. If he wishes to stay in asia i think he will get another job

theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2015/06/06/wanderers-cut-japanese-duo-looseRoar should go for both Takahagi as an attacking mid + Tananka as a full back would be a brilliant combo. and we have the space to accommodate both. also, being japanese, if we get into the CL again, we can use one of them for our +1 in terms of the wanderers, have no clue why they would release them. both were great last season, in fact the best wanderers players by far

Mustafa Amini has transferred to Randers to join fellow Australian Jack Duncan (the keeper transferred over from Perth Glory on a bosman a few weeks ago)
In all honesty, not happy about this move, should have been looking at joining a better league than the danish superliga, but at least randers are playing in europe. In saying that he better be starting or this is worse than any move to the a-league (i think maybe going to the a-league could have been better in some cases). He had the chance to go to Westerlo in belgium also, which for me would have been so much better considering the standard of the juliper league and belgium has been developing great talents, and historically is great for aussie talents. Hell maybe even Clube Brugge would have been interested considering Ryan and Ibini are there (and Amini also played for the Mariners around the same time)
yeah overall, not a good move as of right now

It happened during a friendly match. First time a death happened on the pitch in Malaysia I think .... however quite a few former M-League players died at a young age through different circumstances. A player from Terrenganu committed suicide due to unpaid salary a few years ago, Chaswe Nsofwa who also collapsed and died on the pitch in Israel and also David Rocastle who passed away because of cancer.
