Sydney FC 0-1 Tottenham
Good showing by Sydney. to only lose 1-0 shows they're no joke. even if it is a friendly
Crowd: 71 549

PSSI is a shit organisation. but government intervention in this case ain't helping. the Government should just disbandon the organisation or FIFA should and start a new FA.

Malaysia defeated Timor Leste 1-0 in the SEA games football tournament. Played an hour with 10 men because a daft player spat at an opponent. Guess what. Not a single person, officials , papers , journalists condemn that vile action. All of them kept saying how we will be missing this important player in the next match...
Seriously FAM ??? Malaysia ??? I am really ashamed at my country for not taking any action on this player. Spitting at an opponent is one of if not the worst offense on a football pitch besides deliberating injuring another player. Instead of punishing him for committing this offense, they are letting this player off the hook while letting him know he can do what he likes on the pitch!
This shows how much power a player possess in my country. I hope Malaysia gets knocked out in the group stage. Just fed up with them.

Is it a bad thing that I don't really give a shit about the SEA Games football?
Although it's good to hear that we beat the Phillipinos, but I seriously doubt we will win it, since we've never won it before, even though we are hosts.

its on. well its rather pointless. i should think world cup qualifiers should take precedent (i mean even if you don't qualify, they'd be me important, at least progressing to the main stage of the world cup qualifiers would be an impressive feat)
the wcq is probably the 2nd biggest tournament perse apart from the asian cup

Sydney FC 0-1 Chelsea
Not bad at all by Sydney, they actually had some chances at scoring, but their final product was a bit lacking (they could have drawn it with a better showing in the final third, same goes for chelsea getting more though). All in all, very impressive considering Chelsea did not field a weak squad by any means (Cech in goal, Terry, Ivanovic, cesar, hazard, Remy, Costa all playing)
Crowd: 83 598 (largest since the reconfiguration back in 2000, full house, now if sydney FC average even a quarter of that, they are doing well)

bit premature here but the roar are playing villareal, or should i say are slaughtering them (3-0 up atm)
and this is no weak villareal team either (not full strength of course but they haven't sent their youth squad as such and have some key players on for them) plus we are fielding an understrength squad ourselves. What the bloody hell is going on
Think Villarreal must have gone and done a full adelaide wine tour, several times then came up here
Clut has scored 2 screamers.

Brisbane Roar 3-0 Villareal
what the hell just happened, we didn't just beat the team that came 6th in la liga, but slaughtered them. we trashed the yellow submarine???
In all fairness they where damn poor, friendly or not their manager will get stuck into them for being embarrassed by an a-league team
Clut, 2 fantastic goals, its only a matter of time till the big names in football start coming for our young stars, just hopefully they stay for a season or two and develop a bit, then leave for europe and become the stars i know they can
Crowd: not sure of the exact figure but it was dire, less than 10k easily. Its a simple formula, mid week games in brisbane don't go well. This time of year, uni students are all studying for exams (myself included). For the businessmen, its the busiest time of year with the end of financial year around the corner (30th of June) and you have school students students studying for exams and being at school, people working later. Never really a good time for a game, so the poor crowd makes sense i guess. and lets face it, they're no real madrid. Still, not really an excuse for that poor of a crowd

well he has been linked for a long time so not too surprising. Just that Van Schip't is his manager (how the hell he has a job is beyond me, but anyway)
just a shame we didn't go for him (we could have used him) mind you he is going to be on big money for sure. actually the fact he is under the cap is suspicious though, Koren and Kennedy are marquees. but Franjic, surely is getting 400-500k+

Also Brett Holman (Lolman) and Andrew Wilkinson have been linked with moves back to the a-league, however, James Holland will reject the a-league to stay in europe (don't blame him, he could get a club at a top swiss club or a lower end bundesliga team, or upper bundi 2 team, since he speaks german)
Aaron Mooy has been looked at by overseas clubs also (a european move would be good for him, best melbourne city player last year by far)
Perth are also fighting to keep McClaren, Thwaite and Keogh (not going to lie, McClaren at the Roar would be the best fit for both, considering we just released Kaulerovic, we have no pure striker, and he would start, Keogh would be great if we had the money)

out of all the teams, did it have to be the tards
i mean its good business since they're profitable but even if united bought them, could never support them
rather they buy the roar and try to get them profitable (more potential with the roar anyway, since only 1 team is here right now)

Our u-23 team lost to Myanmar in the SEA games... saw that Malaysia got creamed by Vietnam and lost to Thailand. That's a shame. Hopefully we can still reach the semis though.
You guys know that the first World Cup qualifiers are coming up very soon, right? We're playing Cambodia and Japan. Hopefully we don't get creamed by the Japanese, a 2-0 defeat on our part will do me fine..... and we had better beat Cambodia, or I will be seriously pissed off.
