well, we are not really ambitious. The FA are always happy if we are the best in the S.E.A region. They thought getting 2nd in the recent AFF suzuki cup means we were doing things correctly. In reality, there were so many issues before the tournament began. Players bonuses, players who were not in their best of form being picked , coach didn't have full authority ,etc... and in the end, we almost won the whole darn thing. the FA might be thinking,... yea, we are running things well over here. Well then they're just thick, what is the reaction of the fans? (football fans in malaysia are certainly passionate, at least to prem) Most of us have just given up.

(cause when united went to the national stadium, it was full and noisy, was mad)

depends really. if it's just a friendly, around 5-15k. If it's a major tournament, it will be full.

- from fox sports. I think Frans wouldn't be a bad technical director (i still think we could do better, how much is the father of the KNVB, Johan Cruyff going for ), but manager, hell no, oh and the fans will hate the move, mind you they questioned every other managerial move (myself included with mike) so yeah. Ante Milicic, if we can get him would be a hell of a signing, guy knows the a-league and may very well be the reason the wanderers were so good for the first two seasons. He also has been assistant for a bit to ange, who knows the roar system in and out and is pretty much using it at the socceroos, so maybe that system and knowledge is rubbing off on him, ange was a youth coach and came back better, arnold after his disaster run with the national team came back as one of the best in the league and took the pleb team that is the mariners to glory. Also Milicic knows the a-league well also. so i would like that, also bring back Luciano Tranni from melbourne city, especially if mulvey goes down there (since it seems he got him sacked) and we'll give them rado in exchange (lets face it, the brains and magic mike would be a hell of a managerial team)

Macedonia 0-0 Australia
the bus was strong from macedonia, and we didn't do a damn thing to stop it either. poor game from both teams you could say. not much could have been learned from this

Brisbane Roar 6-1 Central Coast Mariners
we where that good and the mariners that bad, seriously i don't know where it came from, since we have been absolute shite, but the mariners also did help contribute to the result. also the only goal we conceeded was an own goal, true to form.
congrats to Lustica for the hattrick, always special when a player gets a hattrick, even better when its done from a midfielder
Crowd: 6148 (it was raining, alot, and a thursday night, it isn't a good result regardless, actually, it kind of is considering, who the fuck schedules a game on a thursday night before the easter weekend, everyone in brisbane just about goes away to either the gold coast and sunshine coast and leave at that time, and traffic is always jam packed on the highways, would take 4 hours to get the sunshine coast and about 2.5-3 to get to the gold coast also if people leave after work, its shite scheduling by the FFA)

also Perth Glory are in trouble again for a second time this season in relation to a possible salary cap breach. if this is true they're going to lose their place in the finals and we will get in by default

a-league should buy back the license (forcibly) for the purchased price or whatever so they can get Sage out, i don't think you can strip him since he did pay money for it, but you can buy it back for the original price. then the FFA can own them and try to get buyers in the meantime (its Perth, there are so many mining magnates out there they could find a sugar daddy owner like a twiggy forest maybe)

Western Sydney Wanderers 1-1 Melbourne City
City dropped the points. Novillo is a beast though, honestly, he needs to be made permanent by City or else other a-league clubs should get in there for him.
Crowd: 9054 (No one is in Sydney, not even the westies for easter)
Sydney FC 0-1 Adelaide United
the assist goes to goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic. got the pass out to Mabil wide, and mabil dribbled it in and bent it into the bottom left corner, fantastic goal
Crowd: 11 585 (i don't think anyone in sydney would be home either, its easter, they'll go to the north coast or south coast also)

So The Roar are getting into the finals most likely then (Bradbury style)
meanwhile Sydney FC cheat and they won the double (not that it should be precedent but come on, if this is the case, then Sydney should be stripped of their 09-10 title)
speaking of the sky blues, perth is playing sydney. at least 2-3 red cards in this one, i doubt Perth will be happy at all

Pahang have signed a youth player from Perth Glory, Matthew Davies. have you heard of him before, Spens?
he's also half Aussie and half Malaysian. There's talks he might be drafted into the Malaysian U-23 sea Games squad. He will be the 3rd Eurasian to play for Malaysia if he does so after Junior Eldstal and Brendan Gan.
