Rooney's huffin n puffin infects those around him and drags them along when needed. You'd chuck him there just to alleviate the pressure a bit. Can always pull him off and change things around when you need a spark like Rashford. Not sure he's going to be seeing game time for a while yet though.
Look at Giggs and Kiddo here.

I'm talking about in the league, our third win out of five.
3 in 4 in the league for Rashford against two supposed title challengers, Lingard has something like 3 in 6/7, Martial's our joint top scorer so they are in good form. Perhaps deserve wasn't the right word but those three I see staying put, LVG seems to have a particular liking for Lingard as well who seems to be people's fall guy. They linked very well with each other and seem to have good understanding, pace energy, movement in behind are areas to our game which was lacking earlier on in the season.
Rooney should be coming in to play alongside these not instead of is all I'm saying, agree with what you said about him as well.
We don't have stupid Thursday matches so they can have a breather, keeping them fresh and sharp for the run in.

I'm just glad the crazy match schedule is over, I can't wait to see us play once a week and see what we can do when we're rested and (hopefully) fit
