Oliver another cunt.
So far so good, good goal from Rashford and should have had a pen. Been a little careless at times, their chances coming from our mistakes so need to sharpen that up.
Their back four is there for the taking though.

Fucking ecstatic. Played well in the first half, great goal from Rashford and we should've had a stone wall peno at the end. Went off the boil in the 2nd as they got more into it and rode our luck at times but they barely created anything decent. We actually had more attempts on target despite having like 5 times less attempts on the whole.
Showed plenty of bottle and character. Something which we don't show enough.

That's how we should have looked all season
Not grumbling, great win and that was a PENALTY.

Watch us lose to Everton next week now  Do we have confirmation on the replay yet? First half we were very good, Rashford with a delightful goal, skinned Demichelis all game and denied a stonewall pen. Second half we decided to see it out which was a bit risky but every player did their bit, put the shift in, we were compact and kept City to aimless shots and half chances, their best chance came in the first half really. A little disappointed that we didn't attack them a great deal 2nd half as I said at half time that back four was there to be had, great performance nonetheless though. Rashford's been brilliant, Lingard and Martial as well creates a nice combination of pace, dribbling and energy, some of the link up play was brilliant from us. Citeh were rather poor, we marshalled them well, Silva hardly had a sniff. They still haven't beaten a team from the top 8 and now the pressure is on, Hammers or us for 4th

Well it's the international break now which, despite the victory has probably come at the right time for us. Get more players back and fully fit. Just hope some of them don't get injured on international duty!

Bless the youngsters - amazing what a win does for you - even my coffee tasted better this morning ....
Great team performance from us and held on till the end.
How will Rooney get back in the team ? Loved the pace and link-up play - Lingard Martial Rashford - they should have got a couple more 1st half was amazing - second half tired bodies - but mentally very solid We actually saw LVG standing up in his technical area - waving his arms and giving instructions - changed his mind about being able to influence the game from the sidelines ?
Pelegrini's team league nose dive continues - a great handover gift to Pep .... keep it up
8 matches left - 24 points for the taking - rest those bodies and hopefully we can keep the momentum going

If Rooney comes straight back in then probably for Mata, who has been blowing hot and cold. Martial seems to have cemented that left side and Rashford has done brilliantly, Lingard has done well also and brings energy and pace. Those three don't deserve to be dropped.
That spot behind the striker is still up for grabs.
Rooney shouldn't walk back in really but with the type of games we have coming up eg West Ham it's not a bad thing to have him back.

Come on Dave we've won our first game in 5, so saying that front 3 don't deserve to be dropped is overplaying the impact they're having overall. They're all young and inexperienced so it's natural they're not going to be overly consistent right now and for me having Rooney back means we don't have to rely on them all every week like we have been doing lately which predictably has produced very inconsistent results. Having said that I agree that Mata also falls into the inconsistent category and it wouldn't be a bad thing having him back to also threaten his relatively comfortable position at the minute.
I never thought I'd say it after how poor he's played at times this season but I believe we miss Rooney when he's not there. He's one of very few players who has that vital attribute we've all been banging on about this side lacking, character. Even when he's playing shit you know he's going to keep fighting until the final whistle is blown. I think he's coming back at the perfect time to help this side achieve top 4.
